Sonic’s brow furrows. Shadow might be an idiot to think he’s convinced, but Sonic would be an even bigger one to argue. “You know y’can wake me back up if you need me,” Sonic tries through a yawn.
“Yes, your hero complex never rests. I’m well aware.”
Sonic’s eyes track Shadow in a look that might not make him shiver under any other circumstance.
“…Okay,” he relents slowly, begrudgingly. At that, he leans forward and presses a chaste kiss to the corner of Shadow’s mouth, infuriatingly sweet. Shadow’s heart splinters his ribcage when he pulls back, skin thrumming at the immediate loss of contact and- oh, fuck it.
Shadow has a wet dream. Sonic is always willing to lend a helping hand. (Or more.)

Sonic is so caught up in his thoughts he doesn’t react to the hand grabbing his muzzle— gently too— with said alien hedgehog inspecting him with childish curiosity. It’s not a gentility he was expecting in such sharp talons, not to mention from someone who basically amounts to an enemy.

Summary
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke has spent a majority of his life passing as a beta, his omega instincts in a state of suppression from a life stuck in a constant state of fight or flight. But upon finding a new normal with the Armed Detective Agency, Akutagawa finds his designation reaching for the surface for the first time since he presented, and he doesn’t know the first thing about being an omega.
Nakajima Atsushi is an alpha stuck in a constant exchange for control, struggling to reign in the feral tiger inside of him that infects his own dynamic’s instinct. A task that would be significantly easier if said tiger hadn’t clearly imprinted on his maybe-enemy-maybe-rival from the ADA.
Osamu Dazai is a beta haunted by an incomplete story; a collection of select and out of focus memories from a version of himself that lives a different life. Regardless of the missing pieces, two things are abundantly clear: Oda Sakunosuke must live and his world needs Shin Soukoku to make that happen. As the leader of the Port Mafia, Dazai will do whatever it takes to intertwine the fates of a child he didn’t choose with the one he did.

“I guess you could say that,” She leans forward and places both elbows on the table before reaching for her almost empty glass, tilting the drink to and fro and watching it swirl around the melted ice. Black Swan also watches the hypnotizing motion of the golden liquid, looking up just in time to meet Acheron’s unblinking gaze.
“I’d hate to forget you.”

Summary
Even absorbed in the detective novel he’s been reading as a treat for completing his business assignment, Atsushi still notices a man come up to his table.
It’d be hard not to; in a black, ripped at the bottom long trench coat like some kind of noir villain and movement elegantly jagged, the man practically screams for attention. A vintage- or historical, maybe? It’s got a cravat- white shirt, a whole bunch of chains, overplucked eyebrows and eye bags likely exaggerated with makeup, the man clinks a tall latte with caramel drizzle and marshmallows against the mosaic tabletop. What’s his deal? Atsushi looks up from his reading with a small smile, cocking his head.
“Your hair.” The man says in lue of an introduction, because he’s clearly not sane, “I couldn’t help but take notice. It’s ridiculous. Please accept this coffee as my condolences for looking like that.”
Such an odd encounter, no doubt, would lead to a no less odd relationship.
