Goodfellas but with the Shishigumi
Just a quick little parody of the "Funny how?" scene that I whipped up a few days ago after getting inspired by this fanart work I saw on the Beastars Discord. It was of one the Goodfellas Movie Posters with Agata, Ibuki, and Free as Henry, Jimmy, and Tommy respectively. Wish I knew who did the picture because awesome job. Most of the credit for this goes to the movie and Joe Pesci. Obviously not really canon, but if it was it'd take place before the main story.

Summary
Several Cherryton graduates find themselves in the midst of a horrific conspiracy that leaves several carnivores brutally murdered, throughout the city of Zebuth. As they try to unravel the mystery of who is responsible, it's discovered that one of the darkest periods in all history is repeating itself. But in order to put a stop to it, they must match wits with one of Zebuth's most notorious psychopaths.

In the midst of suffering from the segregation, his slowly decreasing good reputation, and the feelings brought on after nearly being killed by Riz, Pina finds himself more lost than he has ever been.
Bill's need for meat and his devotion to be a good club leader are at constant odds to each other, to the point that the Bengal tiger can no longer function without feeling like the entire world is weighing down on his shoulders.
Two animals, intertwined by a single, seemingly inconsequential event with a baby chick that spirals into a descent into madness, driven by remnants of each other's pasts coming back to haunt them.
No one ever said that interspecies love was easy.

Summary
2 years after the demolition of the Old Market, the more things change the more they stay the same.
Struggling to keep a job because of his scars, Legosi finds himself worrying he'll never be able to support his family correctly.
Meanwhile, Louis battles against his boredom and worsening depression as the fake smiles and hidden daggers around him grow in numbers.
Life isn't that pretty for the both of them and it only gets worse after the discovery of a gruesome sight, one wintery morning.
With his position in the Horns Conglomerate threatened and figures of his past coming back to haunt him, Louis needs to come to terms with what he wants for himself.
As for Legosi, he goes heads first into a relentless hunt for society's worst carnivores. All he has to guide him through this insane rabbit hole is a mysterious fox with a red scarf.Two stories, two hunts. Linked in purpose yet so distant from one another. One questions remains: will they finally make a real change?
