He carefully moved from the bed, he was dressed in dark green pajamas, finally something that was his. He moved around the room avoiding the toys, stopping when the floor creaked. He glanced back to see her shift slightly, but settle back down.
Draco let out a sigh of relief, he just needed to find out where he was and if he needed to vanish out of the place. A one-night stand during the Second War wasn’t uncommon when on the move, but this seemed different. He never hooked up with a witch who was most likely a mother. He froze for a second time when he heard the door of the bedroom door rattle before a click and the door opened. A small child no more than three peaked in from behind the door. Platinum blonde hair was just barely past her shoulders and light grey eyes with a tinge of blue. She wore light blue pajamas as she carried a white rabbit. The little sleepy-eyed girl walked over and lifted her arms to be picked up.
He was hesitant as he leaned down and picked the little girl up in his arms. The little girl wrapped her arms around him as he looked around a bit panicked. This wasn’t his kid, this wasn’t his home.

“I have to know that she wasn’t in there when the door closed!” Draco cried as he fell to the floor, after, hands still resting on the chamber of secrets door. “Who?” Blaise replied, confusion written across his features. “Granger.”
After the battle of Hogwarts everything went back to normal and the last year students were asked to resit the year before. However Ron decided to choose Lavender over Hermione.
Back at Hogwarts, Hermione is still feeling conflicted over Ron and Lavender's relationship. As things start to heat up with in the group and a new Hogwarts tradition is announced where Hermione and Draco must put aside their differences and work together to not only win the games but also complete their own secret plan. Not far into the games feelings start to catch and fires start to burn as a evil starts to take over like a disease, completely visible and yet no one notices until it’s too late.

His mother grabbed at her husband's arm, tears flowing down her cheeks. Draco took one last long look at her, then closed his eyes and twisted on the spot. He disapparated with a crack.
A disinherited Draco Black (formerly Malfoy) returns to Hogwarts for an optional eighth year having transferred to Ravenclaw. He's completely unaware that a certain bushy-haired, muggleborn witch has also been granted a fresh start in his new house.
