He eventually manages to collect 'em all, except Stephanie, but she was never my favoourtie anyway. Happy ending in this one, the rest of the series focuses on different main characters.

I love the Marriage of Convenience trope, but only when it's done in a way that doesn't make me tear my hair out. Clear communication, no dramatic reveals at crucial moments, no immature avoidance, no angry accusations borne of misunderstandings, and no apologies by the couple for hiding this from others. Listen, its their life. If they want to pretend-date, it is 101% not anyone else's business.
I love how emotionally mature everyone in this story is. Plus, everyone loves Daichi--as they should. Lovely! Just lovely 💕 -

Decent story, I like that the author managed a completely different plot without shifting timelines or characterizations too much, just fleshing out backstories. They make a sweet couple, honestly, much more sense than Bella/Edward did in canon.

Wave changed a lot about Team 7, but not enough to make them entirely functional. Also someone should have really reminded Kakashi to pay attention to that tiny part of his genius brain that recognises random patterns, before he called a rest stop on the way home on top of an old, decayed Uzushio travel seal with an over-chakra-charged Uzumaki.
And he thought the month of the Wave mission was long, now he's stuck with the team, in a place he never expected to have anything to do with, with no way back.

It's an intensely engaging story, lots of magical and creature world building, solid mystery plots, horror and heartbreak tied together with top notch family feels and a strong though understated romance. Healthy doses of Sawamura Daichi-appreciation only enhance everything. The first story has a handful of spelling and grammer slips but the core writing is well done. It's marked as incomplete but it reads as though the main stories are all wrapped up. Anything additional would be side stories
