Summary

His tired, red eyes flicked lazily back down to your nervous figure. For a second, your words died on your tongue, simply taking in the scene before you. This was real. This was actually real.
The answer to everything Alchemex had been researching for decades was standing right in front of you and you didn't even know what to say.
So, you said the first thing that came to mind.

He looked at you for a moment, his expression unreadable. The beginnings of a smile twitched in the corner of his mouth, but it was gone again in a moment.
