Needless to say, that sick feeling was not just his nerves spiraling as Robert collapses to the ground, throwing up whatever he’d managed to eat from his meal, and probably whatever was left from the drinks and the ramen cup from earlier today.
”Ew, what the hell Robert?! You clearly aren’t fine!”
Visi sounds a little panicked now and he could feel couple others check on him too, with Malevola offering him a napkin to wipe his face. Punch Up was crouched beside him - perhaps not necessary with how short he was but anyway - asking if he needed to go to a hospital or something.

First off, for the record, this whole accident happened because of that bitch Invisislut. It was all her fault. Flambae was simply trying to set one of his many discreet, and completely 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦, fires to gain a few extra points on the leader board (it wasn't because the store owner cheated him out of twelve bucks, fuck you) when she ruined everything.
So what if he was trying to burn down some shitty store? It wasn't like he was going to kill anyone, but nooooo, Invisigal just had to refuse to do her damn 𝘫𝘰𝘣 and follow Bobberts orders so 𝘩𝘦 had to pick up the slack and get sent to stop some stupid lab from being robbed.
Thus, leading to him getting a life-threatening virus and winding up here. In quarantine, shoulder-to-shoulder with fucking 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘴𝘰𝘯 of all people because of course the only other person he'd spread this virus to was that little fucking bitch.

He didn't think there might be a way to fix it. He didn't think the team would care. Seems he got a lot wrong. Might as well take the time to find out who he is without the pressure of Mecha Man on his shoulders and the inability to use his legs. Good thing Flambae is willing to carry him until the uphill battle is won.

Summary
After Flambae and Invisigal pull a particularly cruel prank on their boss, Robert suddenly goes missing without a word.
Toxic, under orders from Shroud, seeks out Robert Robertson and takes him to a facility where he is tested on. Shroud is working on a serum, derived from Sonar's DNA, that is supposed to turn the affected into mindless beasts for him to control. But, when said serum is tested on Robert, he only gains an unquenchable hunger for blood and a seemingly unending amount of pain. Toxic is happy to toy with Robert, allowing him to suffer on his own and giving him no other choice but to come crawling back to him. But, when the Z-team is sent to search for their colleague, Flambae is shocked to find that something far more sinister has come over Robert than they initially believed.

Summary
The air to Robert’s left grows warm, then hot—a concentrated sunlight that finally forces him to glance up.
Flambae’s hovering over the catwalk now, still nothing but a silhouette of fire. No trace of flesh. No trace of bones. Even his eyes are consumed by flames, leading Robert to wonder about the reliability of the man’s vision. He is a floating fiery ghoul, by all accounts.
One who may or may not be able to see.
Even so, the sight is formidable. He’d be impressed—seeing the effect up close like this is different than seeing it through the Mecha Man suit—but the image of the man slipping on a puddle and breaking his tooth on the bar makes it difficult to be anything but vaguely amused.
“If you’re gonna throw me off, could you at least do it in your other form?” Robert asks listlessly. “I’d like to die without third-degree burns, if at all possible.”

Summary
Everyone and their mother knows that suppressants aren’t foolproof. They’re not a one size fits all like the pharmaceutical companies tout them to be. Some meds are better for omegas than others, but price and availability limits their usage. It’s a whole thing that Robert has learned to live with.
So, when one of the members of Z-Team is going into a rut because of a mysterious drug, the suppressants aren't as effective as they should be. Robert decides to hole up for a day in hopes he’s only going into pre-heat and not a full blown heat.
What he gets is help from an alpha that he never expected.
