Qian Cao’s station tested medical knowledge and survival skills. Teams had to correctly diagnose various 'patients'. The challenge was supposed to be straightforward—until a few teams realised they had the option to sabotage others by intentionally giving incorrect diagnoses.
(“This is actual blasphemy,” Mu Qingfang muttered, watching a Bai Zhan disciple dramatically declare that the An Ding Peak’s team’s patient had been poisoned, attempting to disrupt their focus.
“That’s the pirate way,” Ace said proudly.
Qing Jing Peak’s team, unsurprisingly, passed with flying colors. Shen Jiu, standing behind his disciples, watched in satisfaction as they accurately assessed every patient. Ming Fan, Luo Binghe, Ning Yingying, and the others exchanged glances, silently hoping for their Shizun’s approval. Shen Jiu’s lips curled into a rare smile as he nodded at them.
Bai Zhan, on the other hand, had to redo their entire assessment three times after Liu Qingge, upon running out of patience, decided to 'solve' the challenge by lifting up the 'patient' and demanding they walk it off.)

As expected, once the statue was destroyed, items and a skill related to the Great Monk Samyeong appeared in his hands. Dokja smiled in satisfaction and was about to go back when a message stopped him in his tracks.

Dokja stared at the message. Rich Slacker was one weird Constellation, alright. Everytime he did something outrageous, Rich Slacker would gift him a large amount of coins.
What was weirder was the conversation between Constellations that always followed after.

“Don’t patronize me, Ramirez,” the billionaire muttered, but the words had no bite. “Would you like to get kidnapped out of the blue every week? I mean, for Christ’s sake, I even had my assistant email them my schedule once, and they still took me in the middle of a meeting–”
“Mr. Wayne, wouldn’t you consider that a bit of security risk?”
Jim turned, following the deep voice to the dark-haired reporter who’d pushed through the tape earlier. He was standing a few feet away, pen cocked above a fresh sheet of his notebook. His press badge dangled under a devilish smile.
Wayne went silent, eyes locked with the newcomer. A hand pulled at the edge of his briefs, tugging them down over the top of his thighs.
“Aw,” Ramirez said, in the intervening silence. “He’s blushing. Look, Jim.”
“It’s not a security risk if it’s convenient,” Wayne finally forced out, cheeks bright pink. “Can I help you, Mr…”
“Kent,” the reporter replied, crisp. He scribbled something on the notepad, eyes flicking back up to his subject. “Mr. Wayne, any comment on your attire before the Planet runs the story?”
Jim took a step back, frowning. The air had turned heated between the two men; he could almost taste the tension.
“Yes,” Wayne finally said, clipped. “The next person who kidnaps me is getting one hell of a surprise.”
Kent’s smile widened. “I’m not sure I understand what you’re implying.”
“Why on earth would you say I’m lying?” Wayne levelled an impressive glare at Kent, digging his heel into the dirt. “I didn’t know the Planet hired idiots–”
“Implying, Mr. Wayne–”
Jim watched as the two men drifted closer with every jab traded, leaning in toward each other. Ramirez grabbed his elbow, pulling him back a few feet so the two could have a little privacy.
“Who let him in?” She asked, as Wayne threw his hands up, inches from Kent’s face. The reporter didn’t flinch. “No press past the tape, right?”
“No idea,” Jim said, watching as Kent’s glasses slipped past his eyes, a vivid flash of blue catching his gaze before he righted the frames. “Must be a smooth talker.”
“–don’t like the way you’re speaking to me at all,” Wayne was growling, his finger in Kent’s face.
“Oh yeah?” the reporter’s voice dropped to a deep baritone, a shiver of authority running through it. The change in tone was…almost familiar. “Well, I don’t like your underwear.”
Wayne tilted his head, putting a hand to his hip. Jim put a hand to his face as the billionaire cocked his hip out, cameras flashing instantly to catch the pose. “Why the hell not?”
“For starters,” Kent bit his lip, looking up through his lashes. “They’re still on.”
Whatever was said after that was obscured by the blood rushing to his head. Jim grabbed Ramirez’s hand, stumbling toward the ambulance, half-dragging the lieutenant behind him.
“We’re missing the best part!” she protested.
Jim blinked, willing the image of Wayne’s briefs from his mind.
“I think we all saw more than enough.”

Tim purses his lips. “I can't be sure, considering I couldn't see him, but…I think he probably has flight too.”
“Flight?” Dick says, furrowing his brow. He crosses his arms and shakes his head, looking both thoughtful and troubled. “No, that's not possible.”
Tim blinks. “What? Why not?”
Dick ‘ Be Nice, Little Wing’ Grayson looks him dead in the eyes and says, “Because according to all known laws of aviation-”
Yall you have no idea how bad I wanted to make drunk Danny bonk his dumb little face into that alley wall because he forgot to turn intangible the first time
“This isn't about mingling ,” he bites out, ignoring the sound of Damian clicking his tongue. “This is an information gathering op. How, pray tell, am I supposed to turn on the charm and put feelers out about the Engineer if I'm tripping over my own tongue and eye fucking her date?”
“Okay first of all, reign it in and look respectfully-”
“Have you seen the suit he's wearing?”
“I encouraged him to choose it, actually-”
“Oh, so you want me dead. Is that it, you want to kill me? He looks-”
“I'd like to request something of you, if I may,” Damian says.
Danny glances at Sam and shrugs. “Uh, sure. What's up?”
“My brother Timothy was hoping to speak to you,” Damian directs at Sam, “but is intimidated by your companion's apparent good looks and has descended into pathetic bumbling.”
Damian's sharp green eyes slide back to Danny. “He has been standing in place arguing about whether he should approach you for the past few minutes and I am too young to develop gray hairs or hypertension from irritation, Daniel. Please go put him, and me, out of our misery.”
Danny is shaking with suppressed laughter by now. He opens his mouth a couple of times before he can trust himself to actually speak.
“I prefer Danny. Uh, I'd love to, but I'm not very familiar with your family, so I'm not sure what he looks like?”
Damian clicks his tongue. “He is over by the hors d'oeuvres table, making frantic cease and desist gestures.”
Danny turns to look, making eye contact with a young man slashing his hand across his throat. Timothy balks as soon as Danny looks at him, turning bright red and hiding his face in his hands as he turns away.
Tim lifts his head. “What about your friend Danny?”
“What about Danny~?” Jason breathes theatrically into the comms.
“Your sexy hot friend Danny?” Steph adds in.
Tim shrugs. “Then maybe I should pay him a visit, see if he's a little friendlier. What do you think?”
“Do you think I should visit Danny?” Dick asks dreamily, voice still a little rough from the popcorn debacle. “Uwu?”
Tim has to clench his jaw not to bark a laugh at the ‘uwu’, he won't lie.
“I hope Danny and I can get ‘friendly’,” Steph adds. He can see her batting her eyelashes in his mind.
Bruce's third son is covered in glitter. Just coated in it. He's a walking talking disco ball of angry wet cat vibes that has Bruce pressing his lips together and trembling in a desperate attempt not to lose his shit right here and now.
“Wh- Ahem. What happened, chum?”
Tim directs his dry glare over to Bruce. “What do you think?”
“I am going to kiss the Engineer on the mouth,” Jason announces.
“Get in line,” Steph retorts, and Dick cuts in before Jason can fire back with palms outstretched.
“Guys, guys. I think we can all agree we are going to line up neat and orderly to kiss the Engineer on the mouth at this point. I, as the oldest, will get first dibs.”
Damian sneers. “Disgusting. I will be taking part in no such activity-”
“Why, because he's not a hot goth girl?” Steph cuts in, cackling as Damian flushes bright red and bristles.
“No! And for the last time, I do not have a crush on-”
“Oh of course not, you just think she's ‘admirable under pressure, impressively strong and a conscientious activist with strong moral values'-”
Constantine looks over at him with a sneer, pauses in bafflement, then visibly decides he doesn't want to know and pretends Red Robin isn't intensely bedazzled.

Summary
When Shen Yuan dies, cursing the disappointing ending of Proud Immortal Demon Way, he wakes up to find himself inside the story, as a demon NPC. Which is pretty cool, as far as transmigration experiences go! The only problem is that his character is trapped in the form of a dragon-like beast, alone in a half-ruined castle. But he adapts, keeping to himself aside from one quick trip to the human realm that triggers a minor plot deviation with major consequences.
After that experience, Shen Yuan retreats into solitude again… until the Immortal Alliance Conference, where he decides to intervene more intentionally in Luo Binghe's fate. After taking the young protagonist under his wing, however, he’s surprised to learn just how much the story has already diverged from its origins.
And he and Luo Binghe are both surprised when the Bai Zhan War God, Liu Qingge, tracks them down—determined to ‘rescue’ the disciple who once saved his life.

Sometime after that, before Jason could build up the courage to go talk to the kid again (and man, was it embarrassing to have to build up his own courage to meet someone he'd already beaten up multiple times before but then, maybe that was the problem in the first place),
Onscreen, in full Red Hood getup, Jason stood next to an awkward looking young reporter, who, despite her obvious fear, had a tenacious gleam in her eyes. “So, Mr. Hood, what do you think about the city’s heroes?”
Hood grunted. “They’re stupid,” He said.
Tim snorted. “Of course.”
“Batman’s the worst,” Hood continued. “Nightwing’s too chipper. Definitely not Gotham-coded.”
Dick started to laugh. “Gotham coded?” He demanded. “Okay, that’s definitely Jason.”
“What, you were questioning it?” Steph asked. “He’s literally the one who messaged me to check it out.”
Damian narrowed his eyes. “And what is the purpose of this stupid decision anyway?” He demanded, grumbling.
“–but Robins aren’t so bad, honestly,” Hood admitted, shutting Damian up.
“And who is your favorite Robin?” The newscaster asked.
And Hood— Hood cocked his head and looked straight at the camera. “The demon brat — that’s the current Robin — he’s bloodthirsty enough to pass the test, but my favorite?”
No one could even hear the others breathe, it was that silent.
“The third Robin,” Hood said. “He kinda wins the Robin contest for pissing off Bats so effectively, don’t you think?”
Tim turned bright red.
