But ever since the Christmas party before the end of the year when they had drunkenly made out, it was back to icy stares and ignored greetings.

“Merlot? Seriously? C’mon, try one of our martini’s. It’s Saturday, you can’t plan on drinking wine all night at a bar,” Vi offered. It was all just teasing and recommendations, she wouldn’t force the woman to do anything if she really didn’t want to. “Oh and, I don’t believe Jayce told me your name. Or should I just keep calling you nerd girl?”
“My name is Caitlyn. And uh—“
“Alright Caitlyn, how about you have a martini on the house? From a friend of a friend.”
She couldn’t turn down the offer that Vi gave her, that’d be rude, right? “Fine, I suppose I can try,”
Vi grinned in victory “Coming right up!” she turned away to begin Caitlyn’s martini.
A few moments later, Vi set a glass in front of Caitlyn “Enjoy!” she said with a wink before turning to help another customer.

"Kay," Vi parrots back. Alex trails after her. "What's your foster mum called?"
Vi yanks the door open, ready for a fight with a snooty old woman. She stops so suddenly that Alex barrels into her back. Because sure, the woman in front of her is snooty as fuck, but heavens is she pretty.
"Caitlyn," Alex says as she opens her arms for a running Lavender. "Caitlyn Kiramman."
