That devil... the Cambion—Raphael, in all his glory, with his cunning eyes and sharp teeth, a wicked infernal core burning beneath the disguise of mortality. She lingered on the first time she had met him, how smooth yet odd his words were. He was utterly full of himself, but he had reason to be - he did well to make that known, when he shed that disguise of a noble human and stood before her as himself. She should've been frightened, she thought.
Yet she had noticed how desperate he was... desperate, in a way, for her. For her to fall for his smarmy honeyed words, for her to willingly lay her head in the drooling maw of a hungry beast. Perhaps even, let the cat claw her like a good little mouse.

An almost violent contrast to the emotions thrumming through Xichen's body. There is no lingering over what could have been when there is much to tend to regarding what was and is.

Wen Ning shakes his head, then remembers himself again and says out loud, “No, nothing now. I saw that we’d tripped something when we came in, but...” The bright characters of the array that activated the trap had flared out too quickly for Wen Ning to work out how it was constructed, and he’d been more than a little distracted grappling with the yao besides. Not for the first time, he wishes he had Wei Wuxian’s memory for small details seen once. “I agree there must be a way to open it, though. This cave doesn’t feel like it wants us dead.”

"You forget, I know," Lan Xichen says as he presses a kiss to the top of Meng Yao's head. "I'm sorry I made you feel like you have to test me." This is worse than the 'I'm disappointed.'
Behind the gag, Meng Yao almost screams. It comes out as a choked-off whine as he catches himself. He's going to vibrate out of his skin.
"Shh, shh," Lan Xichen soothes, pressing another kiss to his head. "Enough of that A-Yao. I've got you; I'll take care of you, I promise."

As per request in the MDZS Kink Meme: Lan Xichen dual cultivates with Lan Wangji in order to save his life after Lan Wangji has lost Wei Wuxian and is serving his punishment in the Cold Pond Cave. Lan Xichen believes his brother to be unaware of what he has done, and is very happy to keep that secret for the rest of his life. Rape / non-con is flagged since Lan Wangji is unable to protest his brother's actions at this point (don't worry, he is not at all traumatized by the experience).
Some thirteen years later, Wei Wuxian is returned to Lan Wangji's life and Lan Xichen is in seclusion, following the events at the Guanyin Temple. Upon hearing his brother may need someone to perform a dual cultivation with, Lan Wangji steps in to return the favour. The husbands soon discover a side of Lan Xichen they'd never expected to find and can't get enough of, but Lan Xichen needs some persuading before he can accept being taken care of by his two new lovers.
