The main character has a bit of a history with Megatron, when he was still the leader of the Decepticons. He used to like to eat humans and the main character has some trauma because of it. Summary

Turns out, there was no driver.
There was only Knockout—a vain, insufferable Decepticon with a need for speed, an ego bigger than his engine, and absolutely no tolerance for losing. Especially not to a human in a fourty-one year-old muscle car.
What starts as a chance encounter at an illegal street race quickly turns into a rivalry neither of you seems willing to walk away from. Between rematches, bruised egos, and an increasingly questionable amount of flirting, you find yourself drawn into the orbit of a mech who should probably want nothing to do with you.
And Knockout finds himself with a newfound problem: the human who keeps beating him at his own game—and somehow keeps giving him reasons to come back for more.
