“It’s your homeostasis, you can’t support that kind of promise,” Five argues, but Klaus is inexplicably holding out his pinky, shaking it between them. Against his better judgment and all higher brain function, Five takes it. “Fine,” he says, and then says nothing else at all for five fucking minutes.
Klaus breaks first, and Five is grateful right until he isn't. “Is your body changing?”
He couldn’t tell you why Klaus immediately breaking his promise and mocking him, gives Five the boost to just fucking say it, but it does. “I'd like to fuck you.”

He needs her to say it, more than anything. He needs her to acknowledge who they are to each other, that they own each other’s heart and souls and bodies. If she’s the sun he must turn to, he’ll ensure that he’s the only one that she shines for.
Maybe one day, he’ll confess it all to her and await her benediction. He’ll get down on his knees and give her his soul, tarred and blackened as it is, and beg for hers in return. Not that her reply really matters; if she turns him down, whatever’s left of him will fizzle out. He doesn’t have a life without her, without an apocalypse to stop. Those are his purposes in life, and he’ll bargain and beg and cheat and steal to obtain them. For now, he’ll take anything he can get, however underhanded and greedy he has to be.

Murphy and Viktor Petrokov from that point."The Hargreeves fell out of the Hotel Oblivion that night into a brand new universe pretending it had always been there, with places for each of them to step right into.
The brand new universe turns out to be a no-powers no-adoption AU written by a Fiktor shipper.
Now our canon characters, particularly Viktor and Five, have to figure out how to live in a new world that thinks they--or someone very like them-- have been there all along.

“Is it? Not on your sadistic excuse for a father-figure who suppressed and belittled you all your life instead of teaching you how to properly handle all that psychic plutonium? Or the manipulative, sociopathic boyfriend who preyed on all your insecurities until you blew? Or,” he lifted one finger with a look of mock epiphany, “the brother who abandoned you when you were thirteen, leaving you friendless and vulnerable in the first place?”
