He was a mulit-millionaire, stone cold, hard to find, hard to talk to, and has a glare that can send your soul into the underworld. Clark thinks people are exaggerating and that someone can’t be that hard to get information out of. Will he get information out of him? Or lose his job?

Se refugió en un callejón oscuro, lejos de las miradas curiosas, apoyándose contra la pared de ladrillo húmedo. Jadeaba, el vapor de su aliento se mezclaba con la niebla tóxica de la ciudad. Cerraba los ojos, intentando concentrarse en respirar, en ignorar el dolor punzante.
El sonido de una puerta de metal cerrándose lo hizo ponerse en guardia al instante. Su mano voló hacia una de sus herramientas, los sentidos alerta. Una figura emergió de la puerta trasera de un edificio contiguo, iluminada por la luz tenue de un letrero de neón que decía " S.T.A.R Labs. - Investigación y Desarrollo".
No era una amenaza. Era un Omega.
Llevaba un overhol de trabajo azul, un poco grande para él, y llevaba una bolsa de basura en cada mano. Su postura era cansada pero tranquila. Y su aroma... Dios, su aroma. No olía a Gotham. Olía a algo imposiblemente puro: a trigo recién cortado bajo el sol de verano y a miel silvestre. Un aroma que caló a través del dolor, la paranoia y la niebla de Bruce como un rayo de luz.
El Omega lo vio. Se detuvo en seco, sus ojos azules y grandes abriéndose con sorpresa detrás de unas gafas redondas empañadas. Bruce gruñó, una advertencia baja y instintiva de un Alfa herido. “Aléjate.”
