“Greetings, your majesty,” Vash murmured, dipping in a smooth, barely-there bow. His words rang clear through the hall, all were silent, desperate to hear the voice of one such as he. The ladies fanned themselves, the lords cleared their throats, adjusted themselves, and Brad could only stare and stare. Vash looked to his brother worriedly, but at his coaxing he stepped forward, closer to the dais, and dipped again. The reliquary at his hip tinkled, along with the fine golden chains and trappings delicately draped over his frame. His impeccably clean and folded wimple and veil covered his hair from sight. Brad wondered if it was the same shade as his brother’s.

“Come on, Severams. Time to suit up”.“Ready?”, Nai pulled away to stare into Vash’s blue eyes.
Vash nodded his head and a determined look appeared in his eyes. “Ready”, he grinned, pulling away to grab both their jackets and tossing one of it to Nai.
Nai and him put their jackets on with their jaeger’s name on the back. Eden’s Hope, scrawled at the back in cursive writing with geranium flowers in the corner. Vash’s jacket was red in color while Nai’s is white. Both loved the jackers to bits when they graduated from the jaeger program when Rem gave them. Vash lifted his fist up to Nai and his brother fist bumped him with a grin.
