Summary
Merlin couldn’t remember the last time he’d hugged or been hugged by someone. He had grown to love Camelot, its landscapes and its people. Camelot had sunken into his bones and had started feeling like home. He had Gaius, he had Gwen, and, sometimes, even Arthur. Yet the loneliness never truly left him.

Arthur’s father was not a very tactile person, and could not be called affectionate in any breadth or sense of the word when it came to physical touch. While he shared and experienced camaraderie with his knights, it was limited to pats on the shoulder and thumps on the back.
What he had with Merlin… it was different, and he was slightly unsettled by how much he needed it.

In which Merlin and Arthur suffer seasonal bouts of loneliness, and the combined friction of their pain leads to Merlin confessing his magic to Arthur. (Not without serious emotional subtext, a massage representing the last vestige of Merlin's heterosexuality and a little display of magic).

“Need help?” Cedric asked. He asked him.
Harry did not reply, instead swerving around in search of his younger self. He did not spot him anywhere though.
“Harry?”
“Are you talking to me?” Harry asked incredulously.
“Yes?” Cedric asked. He must have seen something in his expression then, because the next thing he said was: “It’s alright, portkeys can be quite disorienting. Take your time.” But that was just it, Cedric shouldn’t have been seeing anything in his face. Not if-
And then Cedric touched him. Just a hand pressed gently against Harry’s shoulder, warm and firm.
Their magic collided, causing a spark. Cedric snatched his hand away. “Sorry, didn’t mean to startle you.” But it was too late for that. Harry was already startled. He was way beyond startled now.

Summary
Peter Parker is dragged along by Tony Stark to a Stark Gala because it’s required for him to be at one considering he’s the personal intern and all that.
Without intending to actually look a bit decent in the tuxedo that Tony made him put on—he unintentionally becomes a model which also boosts Stark Industries.
This fanfic doesn’t have lore or story behind it (yet) as it’s just being written on a whim so the chapters are not exactly that related to each other, it also runs on ideas—which means it’s open for suggestions for now, it won’t ever be complete nor incomplete unless I let this fanfic go.

Beth isn’t in the practice of taking words said in anger to heart. God knows if she was, she and Mother would’ve never managed around each other’s moods. Still, her initial reflex when someone says in one way or another that they don’t want her around is to believe them. He said, don’t call, so she didn’t. Maybe it was silly to fear he still held it all against her, what with the call in Moscow, but then that had been for a higher purpose. For chess. Not her.
