Annabeth had sat him down and explained that good humans didn’t smile when they killed things. Annabeth had always been sympathetic to his oddities- his little quirks. Child of the Big Three, right? Punk skater kids who could raze the earth and salt the ashes if allowed to live long enough- but he was worse. Everything had tried to kill him-

But it had backfired and now he was just very good at killing everything else. Was that how this was supposed to go?
He distantly remembers being scared of this. Of reading a book with a flashlight under the covers, of watching the words twist before his eyes and catching his lip between his teeth because his dad made him this way. But he met Tyson- he met Tyson and maybe it was okay.
Maybe it was okay his blood flecked with something else.
Is it okay that he’s not afraid of it anymore? It feels like destiny. Fate. It feels inevitable.

Summary
When Captain Marvel sends out a distress call, the only League member available is Batman. Bruce comes to his aid, but he finds out that Billy is a 10-year-old homeless orphan with black hair and blue eyes. Obviously, he makes the only logical decision and adopts Billy. Because it's Bruce—who's allergic to revealing life-changing information—the League is left in the dark.
This story is written as 5+1 story from the Justice League's POV as they attempt to define the weird relationship between Batman and Captain Marvel. 5 times they didn't realize Batman had adopted Captain Marvel, and the 1 time they did.

Summary
Peter had vowed to never meet his soulmate once he became Spider-Man, and avoided them for many years after receiving his Soulmark at eighteen. Unfortunately, while on patrol as Spider-Man, the universe brings them together, discovering that his soulmate is Deadpool whom he had befriended a few years prior. The problem? Deadpool didn't know that Spider-Man was Peter Parker, or that he was his soulmate. Peter planned to keep it that way, thinking they'd both be better off without complicating things.
But of course, because nothing could ever go according to plan, and he kind of... sort of... accidentally strikes up a friends-with-benefits (maybe more?) type of relationship with Deadpool outside of the suit, as just Peter Parker. Cue the internal battle of telling Wade everything, or keeping Spider-Man, and their Soulbond for himself.
