Summary
It's been nine months since escaping the Deepsea Metro, defeating tar-tar, and saving Inkoplois things seemed to have finally calmed down for the team. Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3.
3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing.
The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.Bookmarked by Cpool12

The world of man, consumed by the tides of war and atomic fire burned brightly. Until it was snuffed out by the tides of water, in which none survived.
Time passed, and new societies forged their place in the world. Societies not made up of humans, but oceanic creatures. They built cities, languages, and histories they called their own.
And just like their ancient predecessors, they fought. Wars, battles and skirmishes were fought over each and every little thing. The most devastating of which occurred after the rising of tides once more.
To most of the world’s inhabitants, the ocean was seen as a barrier. One that merely needed to be broken, whether by technological innovation or by force.
But below the surface lay the ruins of millennia old conflicts, and the shelters created to hide from them.
Life above water, for better or worse, was about to change.

Hachitaro, who has the alias "Agent 8", has forgotten nearly everything but has defeated the terrible Commander Tartar and formed an intimate relationship with Kaori, who was once Agent 3 and is now the captain. But like his memories, some other terrors from the past resurface.
