Persephone is struck motionless when she gets a whiff of that door. 'Alpha,' her hindbrain chirps. His scent is faint, faded either because of the closed door or because he's no longer in there. He smells amazing. Sandalwood and smoke from a summer bonfire. Comfort and warmth. 'Find Alpha. He will protect. He will provide.'
