"She said yes," Izuku says, jostling into the frame and beaming so wide that it almost hurts to look at.
The bad news, of course, comes later.
“Out with it,” Katsuki demands.
“What do you— How do you know there’s an ‘it?’” Izuku stutters, and Katsuki levels the best uncaffeinated glare he can muster at him.
Izuku sighs. There’s a long beat before he says, “Shouto’s probably going to be at the wedding.”
And that’s—
Well.
Fuck.
Or, Katsuki's best friends are getting married, and he absolutely does not care that Shouto will be there.
He doesn't.

Sometimes...” He trailed off, the shape of cursed energy telling Satoru where he was shifting, looking up at the sky and loosing a breath. Satoru knew the cloud of his breath would hang in the air for a moment too long before thinning, rising, drifting away. His awareness extended to the meager warmth it held, lost to the crisp air. “Sometimes it's harder when things ended badly.”
OR: Gojo and Nanami have something in common.
They both know what it is to lose someone they loved, and how little the Jujutsu world really cares about them.

"I don't know what you're talking about." The asshole deadpans, grabbing his cup. Leaves with 100 grams of diabetes. "Take your pills, Bakugou."
"Hey." Frowning, he gazes over his shoulder. "Hey, asshat—"

Katsuki caught sight of a flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye. It was a swaying motion, and Katsuki had spent enough time around teenagers who pushed themselves to the absolute limit in training and fights to know the telltale signs of a person seconds from passing the fuck out.
It was Todoroki, the bastard. His ice cream, only half finished, slipped through his fingers, landing cone side up on the carpet as his head lolled sideways, body tipping to follow it. He fell towards Katsuki.
Katsuki caught him instinctively, with little effort. One arm scooped behind shoulders and the other wrapped over and around his waist as Todoroki went limp. He was solid, but not heavy, and Katsuki found himself standing in the middle of the common room with Icy Hot awkwardly slumped against him. He was out like a light, pale lashes fanned out over his cheeks, and his chest rising and falling with deep, even breaths.
Midoriya yelped. “Todoroki?!”
Shouto is struck by a strange quirk that causes him to fall asleep randomly and without warning. Katsuki swears he's not concerned.

“Jisung,” Minho croaks. “What—?” What are you doing here? What’s happening to me?
“I came to check if you were okay,” Jisung says slowly. His eyes are darting back and forth as he takes in the scene before him. He swallows. “But . . . I see you met Chan-hyung.”
