Summary
After Lace was rescued, she begs Hornet to help her find her long lost sibling as well. Hornet, however, is still shaken by past events, and so she could not stop thinking about all the ways Lace could die on their trek through Bilewater. It doesn't help that Lace has not much regard for her own safety.
And once they are back in her safe bellhome, Phantom offers Hornet some much-needed comfort.

Leaving her eager to defeat the Pale Monarch, so that she can finally return home and leave this place behind.
Lace, however, decides that now would be the perfect time to taunt and tease Hornet about her experiences.
A decision she would come to regret.

Where Lace's arms slipped under Hornet's cloak to wrap around her middle, she felt the familiar fine threads of that shell, winding in layers and layers, into the incomparable artifice that lay against Hornet's jointed carapace.
A stray thought, itself familiar: for how long? What may happen, that you will come to forget?

Summary
In the beginning, the Encanto are wary of the newest vigilante swinging her way through New York City. She’s clumsy, she doesn’t know how to fight, and she has no self-preservation.
But as they continue to interact, saving civilians from a whole manner of dangerous villains, they grow closer to the hero. Even though they aren’t related, the Encanto invites the Wondrous Spider-Moth as an honorary member of their superpowered family.
She teaches the Encanto that maybe they don’t need to carry so much, that they are more than just their gifts. As they begin to see her as one of their own, the family of superheroes begin to reconsider their relationship with their unpowered relative, who they have kept away from and in the dark about the family secret.
Mirabel Madrigal has completely shifted away from her family, choosing to drown herself in her own duties as a superhero.
And the more time the Encanto spends with Spider-Moth, it becomes clear that she’s not listening to any of the lessons she has taught them.
