Summary
With the flu finally out of the way, Ghost and Soap could finally travel to Glasgow for their shared leave. Only, it's not that easy, as everything goes upside down before they have even managed to leave the base. They end up leaving, but to different directions; one packed for a mission and one packed for a leave.
One day, sooner or later, Ghost will finally accept that he's just a dog of the military and nothing else. He'll never be anything else.
And Soap will learn that too.

上篇的续篇，目前未完结，鬼的精神状况一如既往地美丽而皂实在是天下第一好……本篇对鬼很戳我的一个描述是“是的他拒绝他们的每一次打牌要求，他只记住了他们每个人的姓，他训练他们直到被称为虐待狂。但他会拼尽全力让他们所有人都活下去”，西蒙莱利那苦巧克力一样的人生啊……这篇给我感觉和本人的Top1大长篇很像，逻辑性稍微弱一点但鬼皂之间的感情戏非常细腻，总之是虐身虐心/angst with happy ending爱好者必吃榜……

按照xp淘文而疯狂吃屎接近放弃的时候找到的沧海遗珠……本篇无差，鬼生病了并被迫面对过去的阴影。虽然作者打了死鸽子标签但整体行文其实蛮细腻温柔的，也没有特别过激的血腥暴力描写（虽然有详细的折磨和ptsd描写）很难得的是在这个设定下鬼没像很多同类文一样babygirl塑，脆弱和固执的平衡度把握得很好，这篇的皂在不ooc的前提下太可爱了LT你是要有多铁石心肠才能拒绝这样一只puppy（鬼：拼尽全力无法拒绝），包括皂本身其实也不是一味包容，而是也有自己的问题要去面对，两个人相处起来也蛮自然的没有刻意去捏的感觉，而且141 family写得很暖……Price靠谱到皂吃自家队长的醋笑死，强烈建议本篇加上#Price is BAMF#的tag

In absolute horror, Soap dashed back to the mirror and turned his back to it. It would be fine. When he looked back at his skin in the mirror, it’d be fine. Nothing would be out of place. There would be absolutely nothing wrong with anything.
Soap’s jaw fell to the ground with a panicked whimper when he’d turned his head over his shoulder.
Because, right above his fucking ass like Gaz had said, the name “Simon Riley” was tattooed in neat, mediumly thick letters. Bleeding fucking Christ. He’d gotten a tattoo of Ghost’s name. Above his ass.

Ghost hadn’t celebrated Christmas in… well, ever really. The day wasn’t ever a joyful affair when he was a boy, and so he never felt any nostalgia for the holiday, never mourned its absence in his life. He wasn’t actively hostile against Christmas, despite Soap occasionally calling him the Grinch in playful jabs; he simply didn’t care.
And so, once again, Ghost tried to remember how exactly he’d been convinced to join John MacTavish for a Christmas with his entire family in Scotland. The thought alone was enough to send his pulse into near frenzy.
When Soap somehow convinces Ghost to join him in Scotland on the 24th of December, Simon Riley has to grapple with some of his worst fears: jolly traditions and social gatherings.

鬼皂鬼偏皂鬼（没有实质体位x关系但有明确的皂鬼口嗨），这篇太萌了以至于才看到第二章我就准备把它加进我最喜欢的ghostsoap前五名……刚看到冒充男友见家长的梗概时还以为top1的低配复刻，但看了后发现是另一种好看……如果是那篇鬼pov的作者非常擅长心理活动描写，那么这篇皂pov则是对话描写的第一梯队，两人之间的对话实在太自然太有梗了全程嘴角就没下来过，这篇的鬼更活泼一些，很有游戏里那种英国佬面无表情但欠儿登冷幽默的感觉，好喜欢……
啊啊啊啊啊啊啊这篇的拉扯也好喜欢……不是top1那种隐而不发平静火山的类型但也很有双向暗恋期的酸涩感……信息差真的太迷人了皂在哀悼自己逝去的暗恋时殊不知鬼已经悄没声地把自己老树开花的初恋交代给他了……
太甜了让人有点窒息……作者明牌给了白头偕老结局（泪目）
