Sundrop's mission has failed. After months of searching, she was forced to return to her Kingdom without finding the source of the black rocks. Borrow. It's not a problem until the remains of your work are strewn all over the floor or lost to time. There isn't a problem until you make one, or find one, or force one.
Steal. It's the only option.
Monster High is regarded by many as a sanctuary, a haven. A prison for some, though that number is few. But it is still a school, and rules are put into place for a reason. Unfortunately, some students intend to break these rules and disrupt everything Monster High stands for. Frankie would turn to Headmistress Bloodgood for help, but there's something she's not telling.
And sometimes... places that are off-limits just simply can't stay that way. Maybe getting answers really is worth the punishment that comes along with them.

Adora was very familiar with shame.
She remembers just sitting at the table with her head down, while Adam and their father talked about his batting skills, while her mother swept up the glass carefully and thoroughly. She felt terrible for days after, but once Adam joined T-ball and started getting better with his aim, It was comforting to know there was a silver lining for him.
Now? This time it was just Adora, and there was no silver lining for her.
That, and accidentally breaking a window is very different than your catholic parents walking in on you asleep with a girl, both of your clothes gone.
OR; Adora accidentally get outed so her parents send her to live with her Aunt Mara's in hopes to fix her and it doesn't go as planned.

Adora loves her family, and she loves her job. She doesn't love when her family forces her to do things take a vacation right before one of the most important launches of her career. The last thing she expects from this unwanted trip is to run into a ghost from Christmases past.
Catra has never been good at letting anything go. Hence her impulsively buying the Christmas tree farm from her childhood to save it from closure. But when the farm miraculously brings Adora back to her, she knows this time she will have to find a way to say goodbye gracefully. After all, Adora is only here until the holidays.

It’s the 1880s, and a stern bounty hunter turned ranch owner is living quietly far outside the nearest city, that is until the sheep in her pasture begin mysteriously dying, all the blood sucked out from their cold bodies. But just as the slaughtering begins, it stops. Two months go by no disruption, and then the pattern repeats. The next time, the cowgirl is ready. She hides out in a barn, her eyes glued to the sheep. Hours pass, until there is a slight disruption in the dark. The light hanging from the barn door gently tremours, casting waves of light to illuminate the area for a few seconds at a time. Just as Clawdeen is about to take a step forward to get a better look, the light just manages to catch a small figure creeping closer to the sheep. The woman is as pale as a ghost, her gaunt complexion giving the image of an anaemic. But there is no time to focus on her hauntingly beautiful face as in the next second, she steps out of the light and the only noise that can be heard is the halted cry of a sheep, followed by the disgusting sounds of slurping.

What was supposed to be a routine and exciting trip to the upcoming state semi-finals quickly turns into disaster, and now, Monster High's casketball team and fearleading squad find themselves stranded in the wilderness in the dead of winter.
