How did I not have this series bookmarked earlier?!?! For so long now (practically since I first began reading dndads fics after finishing season 1, so since spring 2023) I’ve had the vague plot beats from this series floating around in my head but had completely forgotten where they came from. I was honestly starting to worry they’d been deleted—or worse, that I’d made the whole thing up!
I might turn this note into a better review someday, because this series deserves it. I mean it when I say this is at the peak of dungeons and daddies fanfiction.

The DRV3 fandom is often too afraid to make Kokichi really mean and manipulative, to set him loose on the other characters, no holds barred. But that’s what makes his character—no fanon-made tragic backstory can hold a candle to the fucking bastard this kid is in the game, and this fic leans into it with full force. The result is terrifying and sensual—and that’s what makes Chapter 5 and the question of the Exisal Hanger so fucking delicious in the first place. This fic proves the point. Utterly fantastic character work!
