Summary
Jake feels his heart leap into his throat when Neytiri instantly draws her knife. The telltale scraping noise does something to Spider; he flinches hard, and Neytiri is already so on the edge that the movement is enough to send her over it. She jumps towards Spider, whose eyes look so glassy, Jake’s unsure if he could tell up from down right now.
Jake can barely get a word out before Neytiri is at Spider’s back, holding a knife to his throat.

"No," Ao'nung smirked, disagreeing. "Your brother is more like the sky people than you are. It shows even in the way he behaves."
"I told you to leave my family alone-" Neteyam warned, pulling his hand free from Ao'nung's loosened grasp.
"Or what?" Ao'nung's smirk never left his face. The Metcayina stepped closer, half expecting Neteyam to take a step back, but the dark blue skinned boy never did.
