As the two men attempt to overcome a past filled with grief, guilt and regret, they must also learn to trust each other as new threats emerge from the shadows.

Katsuki skates toward him, gets close again. He grips Izuku’s chin and holds his head in place so he can continue gazing firmly into his eyes.
“It’s dark,” quiet, these words are. “Far darker than anything you’ve been given. Something burns in you, something the ice can soothe if you allow it. If you know how to let it soothe you.”
Katsuki’s thumb presses hard into Izuku’s chin as he tightens his grip and tugs Izuku closer by his face.
“I’m going to bring you to your full potential. And you will be the best.”
Alternatively: Two years after his sudden disappearance, Izuku's skating idol, Bakugou Katsuki, returns to the ice.

Or you'll end up pregnant." She said it lightly, but she was watching Izuku's face with steady attention. "It was always meant as a joke. Obviously. Because the probability of something like that actually occurring is." She paused. "Extraordinarily small."

“We end at four.” Midoriya started lifting chess pieces from their board, the only one still out. The way he touched the pieces was so delicate, like he was moving diamonds or fragile plaster. He placed them into a little silk bag.
“I hate you,” said Katsuki.
Midoriya lifted his eyebrows, lips turned up. “Noted.”
When all the pieces were put away, he raised the board. It folded into itself and he placed it in its box that’d been sitting on the floor, along with the bag of pieces.
“Welcome to the club," said Midoriya, slinking his backpack over his shoulder. "We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from three to four."
Katsuki stood up. “I’m going to beat you.”
Izuku didn’t respond. Emerald eyes bore into Katsuki’s—unreadable, and Katsuki was suddenly envious of this boy’s ability to restrain emotions so well. He repeated, “I promise, I will beat you.”
“You can try.”
Katsuki Bakugou, captain of the football team, is forced to join the chess club to restore his reputation. Unfortunately, beating its captain, the most infuriating and mysterious Izuku Midoriya, becomes more important than football, his reputation, and everything else.

Midoriya Izuku wakes up the morning after a college party totally hungover, and totally naked. He only remembers bits and pieces of the night before, but enough to remember one thing; he cheated on his boyfriend, Bakugou Katsuki.
There's just one small problem with his logic; it wasn't consensual. Unfortunately, Izuku has a twisted sense of infidelity, and to him, the details don't matter. It just so happens that to everyone else, they WOULD matter.
Or at least they would, if he told anyone.
Alternatively: lots of misunderstandings, trauma, and ultimate healing.
