    Zewu Jun let A-Yuan stay in the Hanshi for the night. He said “it will do you both good.” He’s too kind. Too good to someone like me. He even offered Liebing to me for playing since I miss Chenqing. I don’t know how to repay it. I don’t think I can. And yet, I want to keep his kindness for myself.
     
     it feels trivial to say in a letter but I find myself thinking of you more often. We exchange letters so frequently, and yet, they cannot bear even a fraction of you.

      
    I remind myself you are not mine to think of. I remind myself so often that the reminder becomes its own prayer. Do not look toward light that does not fall for you.

    Wei Wuxian thought that after being cast away by the Southern Alliance, he just wanted to rot away on the dusty battlefield.

    It was not until the Emperor who'd been at constant war with him, fished him up from the mountain of corpses and said, "General, let's make a bet. If I give you all the care in the world, will someday I see which one is deeper, your loyalty to your Alliance or...your love for me?"
