Summary
Every time he’s at Costco, Buck finds that it’s a shame that he’s never gotten to know what the Costco Experience was. You know, before the zombies.
Hen and Karen said that Costco, was an overstimulating experience, Chimney said that Costco was magical and it was where dreams came true (Buck’s 90% sure that Chimney’s confusing Costco and Disney but he doesn’t want to ask).Current apocalypse aside, Buck likes coming to Costco. He gets the appeal. A pharmacy, an optometrist, mobile phone services, garage, meats, frozen produce, furniture– anything, really.
Sure, this one is a bit… destroyed, decrepit. But if you know where to look, or if you’re a good climber, there are still good products around, even after all these years.You can maybe even find a boyfriend.

Buck supposes that putting a random number wasn't a good idea. He had initially considered putting Bobby down but he didn’t want to be a nuisance. They’ve gotten closer, sure, Bobby calls him kid, Buck called him pops once, they went to a Springsteen concert together but Bobby’s his boss. So what did he do?

Summary
The itching under his skin hummed in a slightly off tune. When Buck was outside the Diaz door, he could physically feel Eddie’s happiness, without seeing him. Here, on the porch, he could feel that Eddie’s happiness was at about… 78%. High, honestly. Through the closed door, he could hear music playing softly and Chris yelling at a video game in his room.
When he opened the door and stepped in, he headed toward the kitchen where Eddie was, predictably, washing dishes with his phone in his pocket, playing a Christmas album in Spanish. When Eddie turned to look at him, a smile on his face, his happiness went up to a 98.4%.
Buck stumbled into a kitchen chair, nearly folding in half over it, huffing out a loud oof.
Eddie’s eyes went wide and he turned off the faucet, rushing over. “What the hell, man? You just totally-”
“Lost in my head,” Buck mumbled, cheeks ablaze as he righted the chair and himself. “Just knocked the wind out of myself, ignore me.”

As a child, Buck developed the ability to grant Christmas wishes. He finds this year a bit harder when Christopher makes a very particular wish; Eddie's complete happiness.

“Wanna dance?” Eddie asks, leaning only slightly away to look at Buck. He’s smirking now, eyes traveling all over Buck’s face, taking in his expression and the color blooming on his cheeks.
There’s a look in Eddie’s eyes now, one that Buck hadn’t quite seen before this trip. Or had he? Did it just not mean to him then what he realizes, or thinks, it means now? Regardless, it confirms a thought that has been niggling at the back of his mind all night.
