Eddie’s had this alarming habit recently of staring at Richie’s face while Richie is talking and completely tuning out whatever Richie is saying to instead scrutinize each one of his physical characteristics and decide whether or not he finds them attractive. It’s probably flattering because, on the whole, his judgment is: attractive. But the entire exercise has an air of anger and incredulity that makes it difficult for Richie to feel too smug about it. Eddie thinks Richie’s ears are cute and he wants to bite them, but he’s fucking pissed about it, apparently.
Or, Richie has a side-effect from the deadlights: he can read Eddie’s mind.

Steve takes a second to feel relieved it's not Dustin getting all sorts of arrested in places he shouldn’t be, then he goes back to staring.
It's Billy, who looks as good now as he did the last time Steve saw him: three years ago. He looks just as complicated, too. He’s got bruises on his face, a split lip.
The officer clears her throat, slowly, awkwardly, and Steve realizes they’ve been staring at each other for a while, now. He imagines, for a moment, saying that he doesn’t know this person, this stranger, pretending that Billy Hargrove was someone he used to know and kind of remembers, but--no, he’s not willing to sign for him, or whatever. To vouch for him. “Mr. Harrington?” the officer prompts.
Steve runs a hand through his hair. “Steve,” he corrects, a little absently. “Yeah, I’ll--yeah. Do you have a form, or something?”
Three years later, Steve Harrington signs Billy Hargrove out of a police station. This, it turns out, is only the beginning.

It's a hot summer night, and Billy and Steve find themselves stranded in the middle of a flash flood when Steve starts getting Upside Down-related anxiety. There's, unfortunately, only one thing that's certain to take his mind off of it — but Billy assures him that it wouldn't be so strange if they did it together.Just as long as they don't touch.

When the nurse walked in with Bucky’s visitor, he didn’t even have to fake his amnesia. Because he’d literally never seen the man before in his life. And he had the type of face that Bucky tended to remember. But that didn’t stop the blonde man from gasping like an overly dramatic teenager and pulling Bucky into a tight hug.
“This is him,” the man told the nurse, his eyes welling with tears. Bucky gaped at him. “This is my husband.”
Bucky could practically watch his carefully constructed plan crumble around him. Still, he tried. “I don’t know him.”
“It’s okay, honey,” the nurse cooed at him. “We know you don’t remember.”
Steve had his reasons for comitting a felony second degree kidnapping. For one, the guy was an asshole. Like, Grade-A-Probably-Has-Kicked-A-Puppy-At-Some-Point asshole. And second, the guy was going to sit in some backwater mental hospital if Steve didn’t take him in. And thirdly….well, Steve was desperate.
