"Bellamy," she says, she can barely get it out.
But he hears her, because he turns around with a warm smile. He's happy to see me, Clarke thinks. Then she watches his expression shift into something resembling panic as she begins to fall.
He lunges for her, but he can't make it in time. Clarke hits the ground, but she doesn't even feel the impact. Bellamy is over her in a second, asking if she hit her head, holding up fingers. I didn't hit my head, she wants to say, and that's not how you check for a concussion, but there's no time.
All she can make out, as she feels Bellamy's arms around her, pulling up is, "Don't take me to medbay. Don't let anyone see."
"Clarke…" he says, and she knows he wants to fight her on this, but there isn't any time to fight.
"Promise me!" she says. "Promise!" and then she's out before she can hear the answer.
or, a post s2 canon-divergent AU in which clarke after returning to camp (of her own volition), realizes someone is poisoning her and there's only one person she trusts enough to help her find out who.

Summary
Tommy stumbled through the snow, ears ringing and body aching. He hadn't expected Dream to be that mad. He definitely wasn't expecting Dream to blow everything up. Right now all he expected and wanted to do was go steal all of his older brother's shit and maybe find a way to get back home along the way.
What he didn't expect was to wake up frozen in the tundra without his hearing. What Techno didn't expect was to suddenly be dealing with his deaf younger brother who refused to tell him anything about what happened to him.
The world works in funny and cruel ways.

Tommy's feet drag in the snow.
It's so, so cold. He's so cold. His toes are freezing. His exposed shins feel like they’ve been cut open-- even the one that’s bandaged. His wings have gone numb, which is almost, almost good, because now he can’t feel the shifting, broken bones inside of the left one, just under feathers and muscle.
He doesn’t know why he’s still walking.

Or, Tommy leaves the exploded ruins of Logstedshire behind, and walks until he finds somewhere safe.
And things keep going from there.

The sound of a ship taking off made Bellamy’s blood run cold. The group of them crouching in the cramped metal crate froze, exchanging horrified looks.
Someone was going back to space. And there was a good chance that Clarke and the others were on that transport.
A sick feeling bloomed in the pit of Bellamy’s stomach. Clarke’s position was already so precarious – literally hinging on whether or not no one guessed she was an impersonator. And even if she pulled it off – when were they coming back? What if she got caught in the inevitable conflict up in space? And what about the others with her, if there were others? If they were all still alive?
He’d just gotten her back.
He wasn’t ready for this again. One on the ground, one in space.
That wasn’t how it was supposed to be.

After being exiled, Tommy didn't think his life could get worse. His only solace in his isolation from his old friends was being able to fly in secret at night (unbeknownst to Dream, who refused to let him do much of anything fun, let alone use his wings). Tommy's wings, one of the only things he has that Dream doesn't.
Until Dream catches him flying.
And rips them off.

Except when unidentified threats target Clarke, she's roped back into the organization seemingly overnight. Coming back to this life doesn't only bring the blood and death that Clarke's been trying to avoid, but it means being face-to-face with the boss in charge of this organization and the man she left behind, Bellamy Blake.
Or, Clarke returns to the Blake's mob organization, reuniting with her former lover Bellamy and the ghosts she ran away from in the first place.
