Wolfwood hums, thinking, before speaking, “Preach, lead worship, pray, that kind of stuff. Present the body and blood of Christ for communion.” His voice falters slightly as Vash unbuttons his shirt, exposing the full length of his chest and belly.
“I didn’t know the church supported cannibalism,” Vash smiles, half-joking as he kisses Wolfwood’s neck again.

Wolfwood is a man of God, living to serve or whatever. And maybe there’s a small, self-sabotaging piece of him that doesn’t think he deserves to ask for things, to make requests. Desires stay lodged in the back of his throat, so habitual now that he forgets they’re there.
Yet, when Vash asks, “Nick, what do you wanna do?” he doesn’t know where to begin. He wants Vash to consume him, drown out the rest of the world so it’s just them. He wants Vash to fuck him, to reduce him to the same blubbering mess he makes Vash. Yet, that nagging part of him reminds him that he doesn’t deserve it-- he has no right to ask for anything, especially not from Vash.

“I was thinking,” Wolfwood starts, then stops. His tongue suddenly feels leaden. He’s squeezing his own knuckles, but he doesn’t realise until Vash’s non-prosthetic fingers crawl their way between his palms. Exhaling, Wolfwood loosens his grip and lets his hand slot against Vash’s instead, closes his eyes. “Sorry. I swear nothing’s wrong, it’s just—weird for me.”
“Take your time,” Vash murmurs. Wolfwood manages a smile.
“I—want you to fuck me?”
When Vash doesn’t say anything right away, Wolfwood opens his eyes. He’s met with a raised eyebrow and a slight birdlike head tilt, a little cute, even if the lack of enthusiasm sort of worsens the dewy palms issue. It’s worse because Vash is holding onto him with the hand that can feel sweat, and of course it’s as dry and cool as ever, steady and firm where their fingers interlock.
“Sure,” is what Vash finally says. “How do you want me to do it?”
