Summary
This is a series of one-shots based on my other work Pretend Everything is Normal where the perspectives of other characters will be explored. I would recommend probably reading that one first, if you want to read this.
Steve Harrington seems like the epitome of normal. He's an athlete, a slightly below average student, well-liked by most people. However, as the Upside Down encroaches on Hawkins, the people closest to him start to realize that nothing is really normal. They just haven't figured out that applies to Steve too.
Or Steve is from the lab and is an empath, but nobody realizes that.
Rated Teen for now, but may change later, I'm not sure. I don't have a plan.

But everything will be fine, right? All he has to do is pretend everything is normal.
Or, another lab experiment Steve story because I can’t get it out of my head, so I’m sharing it with everyone.

He blinked in surprise. “Eyeliner?”
“Did I stutter?” she asked, raising a brow and jabbing a finger to point at his eyes. “Dude, everybody has been trying to figure out how the hell that shit never rubs off since you debuted.”

It would be so easy. He pulls out his phone, a message from his handler is there, reminding him he’s not allowed to eat till the end of his punishment. A week without food, and if he doesn’t keep up his abilities, if he dares to falter, it’s longer. He wishes he could cry, it’s supposed to make you feel better. But his stupid quirk doesn’t allow the tears to ever fall.
His stupid quirk has always been the problem. His mother hated it, his father didn't like that it was stronger than his. The Commission hated most parts of it, picking and choosing what to accept. If he didn’t have his quirk then he wouldn’t have been dragged into the Commission's program. If he didn’t have his quirk he wouldn’t be a hero. But he also wouldn’t be an assassin.

Jay feels a shiver of hot dry magic run through his spine and deep through his bones. His magic tied to his very being. Mal is the most effected the magic seeps into her pores and her eyes flash bright green, her horns having been small barely there stumps on the isle start growing. Slowly becoming three-inch curly rams’ horns. She feels the power of the dead at her feet. She feels the call of the Fae from her mother's home, the Moors calling and whispering to her. Carlos notices all his friends’ changes, he sits waiting hoping they haven't changed too much. He feels something like jealousy flush through him before he pushes it down.
"Uh Mal? I think you got something on your head"What would happen if Descendants was more realistic? Villains wouldn't treat their kids kindly let's be honest. This is a rewrite of Disney's Descendants series but with my own tweaks!

Summary
Their first act of rebellion might just be their last.
They were distracted when the wrecked ship suddenly made a groaning noise. The metal whined as if something bent it, moving it. But that was not possible. It should not be possible. Both rebels froze as their eyes locked onto the origin of the noise. Blaster fire halted as everyone watched the ship with confusion and interest.
A hand punched through the rubble, catching the attention of both the troopers as well as the rebels. The figure pulled themselves up slowly, climbing out on top of the wreckage.
A copper haired humanoid man, dressed in robes and white battle armour stood on top of the rubble. The sigil on his shoulder proudly bearing the symbol of the Jedi Order which fell so long ago. With his features almost shining in the dim light, his eyes glowed blue but seemed glazed over, unseeing but drawn to the light regardless.
That was a Jedi.
“...General Kenobi?”
They flinched violently when the Jedi turned his gaze in their direction. Blue glowing eyes aimed in their direction but not quite on them, like the Jedi could not see them.

Lance looked at Allura, who was smiling brightly, and then at Keith, who was very pointedly not looking back at him.
"So what you're telling me," Lance said, hating the way his heart felt like it was breaking into a thousand tiny pieces, "Is that Keith hates me so strongly that the spell didn't have an effect on him?"
(Or, a witch casts a love spell on the paladins of Voltron, making them all fall in love with Lance. The only one unaffected is Keith, so naturally Lance assumes Keith's feelings of hate are so strong that not even a love spell can overcome them.)
