This is not the Sookie Stackhouse you know. Jason dies with her parents; she had much less time with Gran and was left in the care of a monster. She chose the streets and was saved by a monster of a different kind. She has survived things that would kill most people. Being turned by an ancient vampire is just the latest proof. But surviving the change is one thing; surviving what comes after is another. Being turned ignites her fae nature, and now there are very old, very dangerous things that want it. Being part of a fated triad of legend may be the only thing that saves her, or it could threaten the only people she loves.
