He tries not to think much about it.
Sure, he's perpetually exhausted nowadays. Weeks can pass by and he would almost never remember that full meals are a thing. His sleep schedule is a joke at this point.
Jinwoo would never let that compromise his dungeon raids. He's a professional if nothing else, and he's got his pride on the line now that he's publicly an S-rank.
But surely, his deteriorating health has nothing to do with the fact that he's still a pup, right?

Maybe they’ve been at it for hours. Stede fancies that Izzy has enough perverse determination and sheer stubborn strength to keep on like that, and Ed, well. Ed loves to be edged, some sort of punishment-reward he both craves and fears, tears sticky-bright in his lashes by the end of it, pleas spilling from his mouth like pearls all knotted in a line, heavy and precious.
But Ed’s also incapable of staying this quiet for that long, so.

Summary
Izzy and Fang do several laps of the ship, with Fang giving Izzy little bits of things off a plate while he’s distracted. Izzy barks at him for it but forgets himself and has a good bite of the egg Fang casually slips into his hand while he is mumbling at the dinghies’ pulleys.
He freezes once he’s realizes what he’s done.
Stede leaps out from the pile of rope he and Lucius were hiding in with a cry of triumph.
“NO,” Izzy says.
“YES,” Stede says, “You’ve been spoiled, Mr. Hands. Put your hands where I can see them.”
(Izzy works himself to the bone through every one of his heats. Stede can't tolerate even the thought, and so sets out to set things to rights by teaching Izzy how to be a good little omega.)

Some pirates overhear Izzy talking drunkenly about how he's failed to capture Blackbeard all these years, and decide to deliver him broken as a "gift" for Blackbeard.Blackbeard rescues Izzy, and is determined to make sure something like this never happens again, that everyone know's Izzy is his.

Izzy wakes up in a soft bed, with Blackbeard looking down at him. This has happened in the past, when Izzy’s plans to capture him have gone particularly badly. There’s the strange concern and tenderness in his eyes, that just makes the fire and intensity in them burn all the brighter.
Izzy tries to get up, and winces, the sting of the broken ribs flaring on his side. Like a flash, Blackbeard’s hand is pressed gently against his chest, pushing him back into the mattress. “Shh, I’ve got you.” He murmurs, dark hair and beard curtaining his face. He’d almost look soft and gentle in this moment, if Izzy didn’t know him better.
“Stay still, don’t want you hurting yourself any more.” It’s a command, and like always, despite himself, Izzy can’t help but obey.Stupid fucking Blackbeard.

Summary
Ed and Izzy used to be a team once, taking Victorian London by storm, but Ed’s abilities as a medium aren’t what they used to be. He’s haunted by the tragedy that befell them, and his abilities have suffered for it. When Stede Bonnet, a researcher from the Psychical Society, comes to him with a proposition to study his energy, he wonders if this is a way to fix things.
Ed agrees to be studied, and travels to an isolated island estate for the research. He trusts Stede. He just wishes that Stede was the one in charge, and not Ned Low.
And Ed is keeping a secret. A secret about why he's so much weaker than he used to be.

Summary
It had finally happened, Edward was back and Izzy was not needed anymore, if he ever was. There was no point on pretending otherwise.
It was clear he had been a temporary fix for Stede’s loneliness, and surely the man hadn’t meant everything he had said in the heat of the moment. Stede had always been very friendly with every member of the crew after all, the sweet nothings he had said to Izzy had probably simply escaped his mouth because they were the polite thing to say to your lover in bed.
OR: Stede and Izzy get together after Edward leaves to be a fisherman and just when Izzy is getting used to softness and love, Edward comes back.

He’s used to it now, the flirting, the compliments, the kisses, but it never grows old. After a lifetime of neglect, the attention still fills him with warmth and starts a flutter deep down in his stomach. “Yeah, I like the sound of that. Will my Goddess be making an appearance?” She doesn’t always but John’s eyes have a twinkle and he knows he’s in for a good time.
Taking his hand, John raises it to his lips and kisses it, his eyes sparkling. “Oh, she will, love. She has plans for you.”
