Summary
Ever since Hiccup could remember he had been able to conjure flames. His father, the Chief of the Berkians, kept him hidden away because of his powers until Hiccup was 10. The large man made him promise to not use his abilities. Hiccup promised, but at night, when everyone was asleep he snuck out to the quiet shores on the other side of the island and released as much fire as he could.
In another universe, in another reality, Hiccup would try his best to please his father before doing the opposite and start freeing dragons. This was not that universe, this was not that reality. In this one, Hiccup can relate to the dragons because they were similar. In both realities Hiccup is an outcast, but in this one he runs away so he could finally be himself.
