Summary
Stanley Pines shows up to his brother's doorstep in the middle of winter, following the summons of a postcard, with a child in his arms.
The child is four years old, carried and raised by Stan. He's got blond hair, a face full of freckles, a triangular birthmark over his left eye, and fully functional oligodactyly. He blinks with one eye at a time, covers himself in the color yellow, enjoys scaring both children and adults, and likes to play with dead things. He loves his father fiercely.
His eyes have a brilliant yellow sclera, a complete lack of iris, and slit pupils.
Theres something wrong with Simon Pines, and Stanford will do anything to figure out what's going on. Stanley will do anything to protect his child.
Even if it's from his own twin.

Stanley Pines never even touched the perpetual motion machine, but when it breaks, he gets accused of sabotage anyways. Meanwhile, the true saboteurs seem to get away scot-free, leaving the Pines Twins to reap the fallout of an act that would ruin both of their lives, that neither twin had anything to do with.TLDR: AU where Crampelter sabotages Stanford's project and Stanley takes the fall for it.

When Stanley had miraculously begun to gather up the pieces of his mind, forming the broken parts into the memories that had been destroyed by his sacrifice, Stanford Pines had prepared himself for the worst. He’d read through all the horrifying possibilities, praying they hadn’t happened but knowing that if they did— well, if they did, at least Ford could be there for his brother.

The clone wars seem to drag on forever, but one can still find joy in a time of misery if you surround yourself with the people you love

Summary
Arrested for petty crime, Stan expects to go on trial and end up in prison. It wouldn’t be the first time. He knows how it goes.
What he does not expect is for people to start treating him weirdly after one of his fuzzy-brain episodes. He does not expect to be acquitted on account of being deemed mentally incapable. He does not expect the court to rule he be placed under adult guardianship.
And he definitely does not expect when it’s his estranged twin brother who shows up as his new guardian.
