A retelling of the events of Vento Aureo, from Fugo's perspective with a few major changes. Namely, he has the biggest fattest crush on Giorno Giovanna. While also navigating his own personal issues, being a child who was forced to grow up way too quickly, it's a rocky ride for Fugo who has to juggle his feelings with his gangster persona.

A certain man who refuses therapy for the life of him, and keeps scrolling through past messages, dreaming of a timeline where he didn’t make the same ‘mistakes’. At least, mistakes in his eyes- things no one would ever blame him for.

Pomni is a twenty-five-year-old accountant for one of the largest tech corportations in the country, Caine and Abel, and she fucking HATES it.
Not only did she have to spend every day in a shitty, stuffy office cubicle, with those stupid, blue fluorescent lights buzzing obnoxiously overhead. She had to spend every day surrounded by snotty elites and peers who she might as well be invisible around! She could have spent her college years getting a degree in Film-making, stoking her creative flame and following her passion, but noooo, she chose one of the most boring majors she could have imagined for the sake of financial stability- AND SHE WASN'T EVEN GETTING PAID WELL!
Pomni found her thrills in unlikely places- such as abandoned buildings that were questionably a) haunted, b) had dead bodies, c) had aggressive vagrants, or a fun secret option of all three. And, of course, it only made sense she recorded these adventures and uploaded them on the internet- not for anyone but herself, of course, but one of these adventures goes horribly awry when a young carpenter finds her trespassing on a recently bought property.
Little does Pomni know this chance meeting will change everything..

She’d interrupted his failing efforts to let the ceiling's migraine-inducing neon colors drive the endless stream of thoughts out of his mind by carefully sitting next to him. She was kind enough to leave a little over a foot of space between them, but he could still feel the way the cushion dipped under her weight, still hear the deafeningly soft jingle of the bells on her hat as she settled, still taste the nauseating self-loathing bitterness her presence stained his mouth with as the memory of everything he’d said to her bubbled up in his throat like bile.
OR After their fight, Pomni keeps finding ways to be near Jax, never saying anything, just existing next to him. At the end of another long shift at Spudsy's, they finally talk.

Fugo was punished for speaking out against them, but life would continue as normal the next day. Well, sometimes they would give him a cold shoulder, and sometimes they would threaten to stop paying for his education, but once he apologized and asked for their forgiveness everything would be okay again.
Except for now, apparently. Fugo’s parents had been at their wits end with his “attitude”, and instead of doing the logical thing and getting him help, they decided to punish him more. After their most recent argument where Fugo finally admitted that he didn’t even want to study law, they decided to push back his internship until the following summer and teach him a “proper lesson”. Now Fugo was on his way to this place called the Bucciarati Family Farm. He barely had had time to get info on the place before his bags were being packed and his driver was whisking him away from his house. His brothers sneakily laughed at him the whole time he was leaving, and since he was feeling spiteful he spit on one of their shoes as he walked by. Fuck them, fuck everyone here.
(Basically, Fugo is sent to work on a farm for the summer as punishment, but it ends up being the best decision ever made for him.)

Summary
The guy holds a finger up at Yuuta and it’s gently menacing, the way he waves it in Yuuta’s face, the way his eyes say stay still without him having to say anything at all. When he seems certain Yuuta isn’t going to move, he redirects his attention to his phone and types furiously. Yuuta vaguely notices his thin gold rings, the fact that a few of the guy’s nails are painted black, scraped up like he uses his hands a lot and hadn’t bothered to repaint them.
Then the guy shoves his phone in Yuuta’s face.
Yuuta goes a little cross-eyed trying to see it. He puts his hand on the guy’s wrist to steady the phone and pull it away from his face so he can actually see whatever he is being shown. Yuuta realizes, once his fingers connect around the guy's slim wrist, overlapping a little, that touching him like this is pretty forward of Yuuta– but also this dude is shoving a phone in his face, so maybe it’s fine.
The phone is open to the notes app and says:
i’m mute. i literally can’t talk pretty much at all. stop running away from me, asshole. why are you so freaky fast?
“Uh.” Yuuta says.
