Summary
HotGuy and CuteGuy, a dynamic superhero duo, taking down villains and crime together. At first it had just been HotGuy, but eventually his sidekick CuteGuy came along. After much time CuteGuy simply became his partner, the two worked well together.
The people loved them and they loved each other.
Under the mask they're Scar and Grian. Two people with normal jobs, and semi-normal lives. They were aware of each other's identities. And they had fallen in love.
A difficult mission rolled around, and suddenly HotGuy goes missing. Scar goes missing. Leaving CuteGuy to fight alone before it can be figured out where HotGuy went.
And the worst thing is, a new Villain appears, stronger than any they had fought befor. -

-10 years after losing his brother to the city of Ketterdam, Jordie Rietveld decides to take his fledgling worker's group, made up of other orphan train riders and former indentures, and their demands to the nation's capitol. With Wylan Van Eck sitting on the Merchant Council, and the Wraith hunting slavers in the True Sea, it finally feels like someone might actually be there to listen. Once he gets back to Ketterdam, though, he finds himself facing a lot more than he bargained for, including Merchant Council politics, gang members, and a familiar face that isn't at all happy to see him.

All the faces in the room turned to him and he could see the mood change immediately in a way that made his stomach twist. The silence wasn't a comfortable one anymore. He saw Jesper and Inej exchange looks, and Nina and Matthias stare at him with open confusion. Wylan looked at his boyfriend for whatever reason. And there was something else on all of their faces. They were all looking at him like he had a screw loose.
"No?", Jesper said eventually. "Shouldn't...YOU know that?"
Well, shit. He botched that phenomenally.
