A woman. There was a woman calmly sitting with the captain's head in her lap, feasting on the half sunken ship with a cold and detached expression. She was eating the skin off his cheeks. She seemed to take his flesh between her fingers not for the depravity of it, but simply because it was a meal. Almost a sentimental thing that twists into a set of teeth. A tragic romance.
Smearing the blood across her cheek as she lifted her eyes, she met Bronya’s gaze.(using norse folklore: Bronya, a princess trapped in an arranged marrige has her ship ambused by a mysterious creature. She is spared however, as she meets the siren behind the carnage.)

Is all fine as it seems? Or is there something silent beneath the waves? Waiting for a moment of weakness...
UPDATE 2025: Unfortunately fic is dropped, I have no motivation or intention to write anything here on out atleast for the foreseeable future but hopefully one day I do return and write something. Thank you for reading what was a short cut story.

With the war ready to be renewed at a moment’s notice and the Siren threat always lurking, Enterprise finds herself adrift; a ghost who has resigned herself to whatever the next fight may be with no other life beyond that.
Belfast has chosen to use a supply run to London as an opportunity for Enterprise to reawaken the spirit that had been smothered by duty, making a request for Eagle Union’s carrier to accompany her during the full length of the supply acquisition and completion of her own refit. It’s a selfish request, unfit for the head of the Maid Corps, but something she may discover is that the feelings she hold demand that she become more than that for the shipgirl she had chosen to dedicate herself to.
Meanwhile, the unseen overseers of this world speculate on its worth, debating on whether this was a simulation that has run its course with its remaining fate being deletion.

Just how many milestones would she celebrate alone? With nobody to turn to for guidance on how to ask a girl out on a date, how to best propose, how to most efficiently build a nursery, hell, someone who would at least be there to witness her making a full lap on a bike. It ached in a different way when her sorrow shifted from the woman her mother was to the hole she left behind with no one to fill. Bronya looked down at the sleeping woman and wondered who would ever be able to fill the role of her mother, giving her daughter away at the altar, the day the two finally got married.
Or
Bronya learns to move on from her mother's death, and embrace the newfound family she gained along the way.
