Given that, what's to say that in another time, or another universe, a certain someone wouldn't just so happen to catch a SICK HACK concert at just the right time?

A Doki-Centric DDLC x MHA fic

Monika is in a bit of a predicament. Sure, she has over a year before she turns sixteen, but finding housing without any financial support whatsoever isn't the easiest task, so she's prepared ahead of time. Not to worry, though; UA just built free dorms to any prospective student with financial need! In other words, she'll be able to find a place to live and secure herself a decent job at the same time! Sure, she likely won't be TOO well-off, given the stigma surrounding quirks like hers, but it'll be enough.

Sayori's used to life by now. She's been living with her best friend Izuku Midoriya for years now and things have been great! Together, they'll be the best heroes in all of Japan and protect everyone's smiles! She just wishes her quirk was a little different, though...

Natsuki's running out the clock. Three years seems so far away, but as long as she works her ass off and her quirk doesn't make her lose her shit, she'll be free as soon as that timer hits zero.

Yuri's never liked her quirk very much. Ever the rambler she is, she can hardly utter a few sentences before everyone starts nodding off around her. Hopefully, UA will remedy that.

Summary

A lot of things don’t change.
Renako still reinvents herself. She still ends up on that rooftop. Mai still follows and they still become friends.
Only this time, Mai isn’t able to fall in love, stopped by one of the only things that could have done so.
After all, one can only evade the pull of gravity for so long.
Or,
WataNare, except Mai and Renako are cupids, and thus, unable to fall in love as usual. Renako gets the friendship she always dreamed of. As for Mai, well…
Time will tell.
You don’t necessarily need to read Love Bullet to understand this fic, but I highly recommend it! Seriously, if you haven’t already, go read it!
But yeah, this was mostly written as an exploration of what might have happened if there was some external force keeping Renako and Mai’s relationship platonic even as they got closer to one another.
Of course, whether it will stay platonic is another question entirely.

After a way, way, WAY to eventful first year, a lot of things happened, and now, I can finally settle into my normal, everyday high school life! Just spending time with my friends, playing video games without a care in the world, and keeping up with studying.

Studying! Ack! I should be doing that right now! I have exams tomorrow! But... everyone needs a break every now and then, right? Just one more round. And then I'll get right back! Because hearing everyone tiptoe around asking me for my score is seriously getting to me! Especially when one of them is the reason my grades have increased at all!

Luz floated further to her pointed ear, which now seemed to twitch in anticipation. As she took a breath, Amity felt the tingles cascade down her back. Her body getting ready to break, against her will.
And then, Luz did it. In a whisper, she enticed.
“Come back to bed.”
It wasn’t hers. It was barely a bed. It was a recipe for severe back problems. But the way it sounded off of Luz’s tongue felt more natural than her childhood bed frame and fuchsia coated walls ever could.
