Rain platters against the ground as Kaeya watches with hazy eyes, how the stars seem bright, as one has never yet seen the sky. Ironic, isn’t it? The one with the starred eyes yet has lived without them till now.
Once taken in by the family of red, yet being blue. Being banished from their former home by someone dear.
Or in other words: “What if Kaeya ran away to Liyue after the fight with Diluc Ragnvindr, his once dear brother?”

The bushes rustled.
If it had been a wild animal, say a boar or a wolf, Kaeya Alberich would’ve laughed. What a great end would it be for a filthy traitor like him to die eaten alive by some mildly dangerous beast, like he was common prey!
Truth is, something- no, someone was still there to feast on his already wounded flesh, to rip apart the rest of him.

The old folklore tell that the Good Lady of the Earth was so stricken with these homely, peaceable beings who cared for and used her earthly creations to their fullest intent and purposes that she had blessed them with a Gift of their own; the ability to hold sway over the natural elements.
These abilities assist the Hobbits in their daily life, and if the Valar forbid, they were ever attacked by those who wished them harm, they’d have the power to defend themselves.
Though, Hobbits haven’t needed to use their abilities for battle in centuries, and even so, to use one’s Gift in front of outsiders is considered highly taboo. After all, no one wanted Yavanna’s Blessing to become a curse that sent trouble to their borders.
However, when one is so far from home, secrets have a way of coming to light. Especially when one’s friends are in danger and need saving.'

When Thorin finally recovers and sets out to repent for his misdeeds under the hold of the Arkenstone, he finds much more than what he was looking for in the Shire.

“Kaeya Alberich, Your Majesty, Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius,” He breathes out. His answers once again causes a reaction from the other Harbingers. While Childe can hear their whispers and laughs, he is not aware of how Pierro perks up at the name.
“Hm,” The Tsaritsa lets go of his face and walks back to her throne, taking a seat. “Tell me about him, would you?” Her request shocks everyone in the room, all of them having no clue why the Archon would care about the eleventh’s lover.
“He is… intelligent, beautiful, and a good fighter, better than me in hand-to-hand combat if I have to be honest,”
The room grows silent once more when Childe is done speaking, everyone awaiting the Tsaritsa’s response.
“Very well,” She hums. “Bring him to me in the next seven days. It’s about time we found Rosalyne a successor.”

Summary
In which the Green Lady herself is displeased with how hurt one of her children’s lives has turned so she grants our dearest Bilbo Baggins a second chance. A second time around. To do things properly and gain an ending he deserved with the ones he loved.
A story where Bilbo gets a do over. Having to try hide his looks of melancholy. His fond, sorrowful, determination filled eyes towards the prince's. The longing, loving and frivolous need and desire directed to the exiled king and the eyes of one who’s lost family has finally returned towards the company. All the while under the scrutinizing gaze of a meddling peace disturbing wizard. Without the knowledge of his stolen glances noticed by all whom he tries to hide them from.
Oh, and apparently there is no longer a one ring with Bilbo only finding out much later. Sauron was defeated the first time, but orcs and goblins still plague the lands. But somehow, he still ends up in a riddle stand down?

Lots of domestic fluff and sweetness abound, but not without some mild problems. See, the thing is, Bilbo doesn’t want a day to go by without planning some kind of outing and/or event, and sometimes Thorin just wants to chill. Not to mention, the other hobbits in the Shire don't know how to mind their own business.

Instead, Bilbo intends to use his foresight to spare his dwarves their terrible fate, if only he didn’t regain consciousness just in time to witness Smaug’s wrath first hand.

Bilbo stood beside thorin, next to the throne that he was starting to hate very much, thank you. And the gold, oh the neverending piles of gold. He hated it. He wished he could find the deepest mine here and drop every last coin in, never to be seen again. Thorin hasn't been himself, he doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep, and his eyes are constantly searching, looking for traitors that aren't there. Bilbo has caught glimpses of him while walking the halls, standing hidden in the shadows just watching, waiting for the moment he might see which one of them has stolen it. What he doesn't know, is while Bilbo stands here next to him so is the Arkenstone. They're all starting to wonder just what Thorin's capable of. Can Bilbo save him before he does something he can't take back?

Thorin is holding on by a thread, Bilbo needs a hug and it's only a matter of time before someone or something breaks.
