To gain the support of another planet, Voltron must go through a test to determine how much they know each other, for if they don't trust each other enough to be honest, how can another planet trust them to be honest with their promises?
Unfortunately, this makes Lance realize that he probably shouldn't have kept so much from the team. Because if they don't get enough points to earn the alliance, the person with the lowest score must die.

Lance wasn’t a fan of fake people. White lies here and there were fine, but the people who made big, flashy fabrications of themselves being considerate and charming just to be liked was just such a stupid concept. Because really, was earning popularity so important? Was having hordes of people like you so vital for human existence?
Lance was the biggest fucking hypocrite he knew. But then again, he wasn’t a fan of himself, either.

I didn't do the whole week, but I did end up with some monster fics when I meant to write microfics. (Well, not that monster. Just... 4k is not micro.)
Day 2 - Hypothermia - Hunk fights his way through the snow to get everyone back to their lions after a diplomatic meeting. He isn't fast enough to keep Lance from getting hypothermia, but Blue is waiting for them and everyone's ready to support each other. Also features LOTR jokes.
Day 4 - Torture - Coran hangs from his wrists and thinks back on his training in resisting torture. He's happy to think Allura's far away, safe with her lion, but she has some thoughts of her own about letting him be in pain. She isn't her father, but he'd give just as much for her.
Day 6 - Poison - Allura and Hunk are poisoned at a diplomatic dinner. Hunk knows what to do in the immediate moment, and the rest of the team is there to fix it afterward. Allura and Hunk grow closer through the experience.

And now that he was in space, millions of somethings away from earth, stuck in a castle with the best pilot in his class, a genius hacker, an amazing leader, a great cook and engineer, and a princess of an alien species and her adviser, Lance was even more of a nothing.
(basically lance is sad, and he's on a planet when he discovers a cliff. you can infer what happens next)
