No, Niki wasn’t okay. He barely slept anymore, he sneezed every time he went outside in the day, he no longer thought about looking into prescription glasses, and, most concerningly, he needed Rinne’s blood. Putting it all together like that, it all made sense. There was only one explanation.

Normally, Niki liked Valentine’s Day. Free chocolates from all kinds of people? Special Valentine's deals? The chance to fill his basket with discount chocolate the day after? It was literally a holiday made for him, as someone that loved anything related to food. A day not to be missed!!
However, there was one issue this year. One very specific problem that was messing with Niki’s normal love for the season.
And ironically it had something to do with that very word, love.
