Summary
It starts at three in the morning with a glass of warm water, a strange sound in the bunker, and Dean walking into the library ready for a fight. What he finds instead stops him cold: Castiel, calm as ever, caught in the middle of something far more intimate than angels are supposed to know.
Awkward should’ve been the next step. A joke, a hasty exit, the kind of moment you bury and never talk about again. But Dean doesn’t walk away. Curiosity turns into temptation, and temptation into demonstration. Soon, he’s showing Cas everything he’s missed, from the first tentative touch to a full-blown lesson in how good it can feel to let go.
What begins dirty and desperate, the kind of hunger Dean’s spent years denying, shifts into something else when the walls finally crack. Between rough edges and whispered truths, Cas admits what Dean’s been too afraid to say. And for once, Dean doesn’t run from it. He answers it.
By the time the night is over, they’ve gone from startled awkwardness to raw confessions, from messy desire to tender kisses in the quiet of the Bunker library. For the first time, both hunter and angel let themselves be seen, and neither of them is alone in the silence anymore.
