Summary
After everything was done, Maeve Ogilvy stood in the wreckage of the final battle, alone. She had done everything right, listened to the keepers, resealed the repository, yet she stands alone. She can't help but to think that the power of ancient magic should have died during that final battle. She grapples with the feelings that are left behind after the final battle, as her friends and professor's concerns grow over her reckless actions.

Summary
From a Hobbitkink prompt:
The battle was over, and Thorin Oakenshield awoke, naked and shivering, in the Halls of his Ancestors.
The novelty of being dead fades quickly, and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.
(Follows the story of the War of the Ring).
(Bagginshield, Gimli/Legolas) In which recovery takes time, the dead members of the Company take to watching Gimli as though he’s a soap opera, the living struggle with being left behind, Legolas is confused, Khuzdul is abused, and Thorin is four feet and ten inches of guilt and anger.

Summary
Magic was said to come from the heart...
Well, no one said it could come in the form of a livid potion's professor.
You shuddered at the expression on your teacher's face as the room dropped several degrees colder, even with the presence of a dementor already hovering before you. The monster moved slightly back towards you, but was interrupted, "That was your last mistake," Sharp growled, hand clenched around his wand as he drew it upward.
"Expecto patronum."

Summary
In the immediate aftermath of battle, the professors race further into the foundations of Hogwarts. They daren't focus on the dangerous pickling of magic in the air, or how empty wiggenweld bottles crack underfoot- all that matters is getting to MC and Eleazar.
They find them, but in a worse state than anyone could have foreseen.
In the weeks that follow, MC struggles to cope with the grief of losing Professor Fig, determined to solider on alone. Repressing that pain has potentially devastating consequences for the secret of Ancient Magic. -

“And everyone is so old,” Tubbo complains. Somehow, without them knowing about it, Tubbo’s managed to swipe a waffle and is chewing on it happily. Sapnap stifles a laugh. “Well, not everyone, I guess- the kid in our room is our age, I think. He might be younger.”
Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?

Summary
This kid was so small.
That was Phil’s first thought upon opening his front door—that the kid on his front porch was so small. Too small for the warnings heaped upon Phil by the state, warnings of wild magic and dangerous words, of the treachery and trickery that came hand in hand with the legends of the fae. Phil had known many fae over the course of his lifetime, both kind and cruel. The kid on the front porch just looked like a kid.
He just looked scared.Or: Phil signs up to be a foster parent and ends up just stacking traumatized kids in his house.

Tommy gets lost in a storm and makes friends with a not-kidnapper named Wilbur.
Then Wilbur gets actually "kidnapped" by the Antarctic Empire.
Tommy remembers he's king of a very tiny kingdom, so he does what any five-year-old would do.
He tries to declare war. (toddler fluff and chaos ensue with basically no angst)

"The holidays weren’t even something you were thinking about until Poppy offhandedly mentioned returning to her gran’s house for Christmas.
Then again, there wasn’t much you were thinking about as you tried to go through the motions while feeling as though there was a hole in your chest. A wound that was festering with guilt and grief in a way that you are sure only Sebastian could possibly begin to understand if he had the energy to try."
A one-shot about what Christmas alone at the castle would be like directly after the events of the game, with our favorite potions professor being the only one to notice the struggle of being the Hero of Hogwarts.

Summary
The story line surrounding the main trials felt a bit lackluster, so this is my attempt to flesh out the story a bit more.
Of course I couldn't help myself and I threw Professor Sharp in there as well, because let's be honest. A former Auror working during all our missions with Fig would have been so suspicious.

“I was an Auror for several years before taking my teaching position here. I know what someone who has been cursed looks like. If you don’t want to go to the Hospital Wing that's fine, but that means you need to let me help you instead.”
Of course you can't just be tortured on school grounds and go on unnoticed, especially by the former Auror turned potions professor.

Your eye is then drawn by movement in your periphery, and when you look up you see the mannequins are now swaying slightly. Some of them seem to be pushed by some sort of breeze that you can't feel, but others are almost writhing, wooden limbs moving unnaturally as though the inanimate objects were feeling pain. Professor Sharp looks upwards as well, his grip tightening a bit on your shoulder in what you think is meant to be a comforting way, though Professor Sharp seems to be a bit out of practice when it comes to comforting gestures considering how firm his hold is.

The Haunted Hogsmeade quest is here, and for some reason so is Professor Sharp?

Summary
When Garreth Weasley asked you to ‘borrow’ some billywig stings from Honeydukes for his latest concoction, you never really expected any real results to come from it, so when Garreth Weasley flagged you down in Central Hall after returning to Hogwarts after Christmas, you were surprised to have a bottle with a homemade label thrust into your hands.
-
“It's not that I’m doubting you Garreth, but…” You gently begin, unwilling to be the test subject for the boy that blew up a cauldron on the first day of class. To his credit, Garreth seems completely unphased by your hesitation.“Oh! Don’t worry! There isn’t anything that would be considered unsafe for consumption or too experimental in the drink. It’s practically a liquid equivalent of Fizzing Whizzbees, and I’m sure you’ve tried those before.” Garreth reassures you, still smiling even if you have trouble doing the same through the sudden nerves that have taken hold of you.
You don’t want to be rude, though, so after another reassuring nod from the boy you uncork the bottle and take a large swig. You do far more dangerous things most days anyway, what's the worst that can happen?

' "She thinks that the girl who was sent to Azkaban was actually innocent, and since I was already looking into the student and she wanted answers we went to Azka-” You know you are slightly rambling, but a sharp inhale of breath from Professor Sharp has you stopping mid-sentence. Professor Sharp’s eyes are almost comically wide with shock, though the harsh set of his jaw makes it impossible to so much as think of his expression as anything but serious.
“Are you telling me that a retired Auror took a student to Azkaban?" '
My take on the Hufflepuff exclusive quest with Professor Sharp there to help.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING
You can’t hear.
The only proof you could hear in the first place is the loud ringing in your ears. Why are your ears ringing? What just happened? How did you end up on the stone floor with rubble all around you? Why can’t you see? Everything is blurry around you and you can’t stop shaking. You reach out, feeling something soft in your grip as you slip further into shock. You have finally fought Ranrok and now it is time to deal with the immediate aftermath.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE GAME ARE REFERENCED! I would recommend beating the game before reading.
After the dust has settled, it is up to the professors to determine your fate, but they are being a bit too overbearing with their methods. Hiding in the Map Chamber is far better than all this new attention.

“And your name?” The fae asks, a hand held out, his voice so kind and sweet that Tommy nearly forgets himself, forgets the warnings he’s been given.
He opens his mouth to answer, then shuts it just as quickly.
“Uh.” Tommy says, like a fool. Now that was close. Too close.
(Or, a story in which Tommy has always been too curious for his own good.)
