Summary
After everything that has happened, the Doctor has been grounded to Earth until he learns to cope with his trauma rather than run from it.
The TARDIS has thus collected some of his friends in order to help him heal. Well, friends and someone who he has an infinitely complex relationship with. They are to watch the Doctor's adventures, taken from points all across the Doctor's timeline. Some will be good; some will be bad.
DOES NOT REQUIRE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EU TO UNDERSTAND. If you haven't experienced the EU (which I recommend), you'll just be 'watching' it for the first time along with the companions.

“Nope,” the Doctor announces, popping the ‘p’. “Pulled you out just in time.”

Clara had used so many names in the past, but stripped down to a trembling mess of vulnerability, the only one that came to her was her original Earth-given name. “It’s...it’s Clara.”
There was a long pause. “Good name. Clara.” And maybe it was her near-reverent tone, but Clara almost believed her.

Summary
After dying to Martin's hand in the Panopticon, The Archivist floats in between space and time, the Beholding keeping him company, traveling to wherever the fears decide to make their home next. Turns out, they choose a parallel world to Jon's previous one. Jon flies into his past self's desk at high speeds and makes his entrance into this world as dramatic and mysterious as possible, in classic Jonathan Sims style. Now, the Archivist must figure out how to stop the oncoming apocalypse in this world. (And figure out how to handle the oncoming office shenanigans.)

His office, as offices were wont to, did not morph into some twisted reflection of a primal fear that had been specifically designed to torment him. This was the entirely expected, average behaviour of an office, and it unsettled Jon to no end.
If this wasn’t some sort of fear dimension for him to spend the rest of his existence, as if he were in some sort of vaguely terrifying purgatory, then where was he? Clearly, it wasn’t his actual office, it hadn’t looked this haphazardly disorganised since he’d started in the archives – Jon had always valued having some kind of proverbial method to the madness. Else, he’d never have been able to find anything.
Unless… no. No, that was impossible. Waking up after dying was one thing, one very well-documented phenomenon, even if the individual circumstances of him having done it twice were somewhat unprecedented, but this-
In a decisive motion, Jon stood up, his almost horrifyingly creaky chair scraping backwards as his legs pushed against it.
After the events at the Panopticon, Jon finds himself Elsewhere.

Tim hears a thump and a clatter in Document Storage within the first two weeks of working in the Archives. What he and the rest of the Archives team is left with is a comatose body double of their boss and 200 some tapes that have appeared out of nowhere. The safe course of action would be to burn the tapes and forget about the man in the hospital. But this is the Archival crew, and they are not ones for safety when there’s a mystery to be solved.

So fucking good! Like, exactly what you'd want from a "reacting to media" fic! So much buffer in between content. Focusing on the aftermath and emotions and how relationships and circumstances change because of the media! I also love the added flare of future Jon coming along. And I love that he HAS to recover first. I love that he's human again. Argh! It's just so wonderful!!!
