“What the fuck.” Adora’s voice shook.
Catra stopped rewinding, and tentatively hit play again. They watched it forwards this time. A massive wolf smashed through the fence, sending shattered painted shards everywhere. It clearly howled in pain. Its golden fur was painted red around its maw and down its front and, now, around its leg. It slumped forwards into the mud. It lay there for a while.
Then it shuddered.
It started shaking, violently.
Its limbs snapped about in horrible ways. Fur receding into skin.
Its size shrinking.
Then it was Adora. Lying face down in the mud. Fencing stuck through her leg. Her arm bent at a horrible angle.
Adora doesn't remember anything. She's woken up with new senses, new strength, new hunger, and new... form. She's lying in the mud of Catra's backyard knowing it's the only safe place in the world.

Summary
Charlie's well aware she can come off as… abrasive, sometimes. Her enthusiasm isn't easy for most denizens of Hell to swallow. She’s worked to tone it down as the hotel’s grand reopening creeps closer, giving residents more space and swapping the flashy events for more casual gatherings. Charlie wants her new (and old!) friends to feel as comfortable as possible, after all!
But there’s one issue that’s not as easily solved. And unluckily, Charlie’s pretty sure it’s her most abrasive feature of all. But she’s not so sure this is a part of herself she can tone down. Or really wants to, for that matter.
Maybe there’s a way to compromise.

Of course, Cait is always stubborn, only seeing her own goals. Well, Vi can see more than that.

Pain, immense pain spreading from her gut. Violet looks down, red blood painting the blue costume. She looks at Caitlyn, hears a scream somewhere.Caitlyn shot her, the pain searing through her body intensifies when she realizes who pulled the trigger. Caitlyn’s eyes are spread wide with shock. The corner of her vision darkens, the sounds fading, and then there is none.
Arcane Season 2 Act 1, if Caitlyn would’ve taken the shot, but managed to hit Vi instead. Prepare for angst, angst and maybe some fluff, and then more angst.
