He knew he was hoping for the latter.

Peter hasn't spoken to Tony in two months - not since their argument. It had been stupid really, and looking back Peter wasn't sure if he could even pinpoint what started it, but he hadn't been back to the Tower since. He had been too ashamed of his behaviour to face Tony, and had no intentions to return. But then, his class field trip is announced - to Stark Industries.
Peter is determined to keep his head down, swallow his hurt at the genius' rejection, and get through this trip as smoothly and painlessly as possible.
Tony isn't interested in seeing him anyway.

Can you write one regarding the covid lockdown period where peter is quarantined in queens ncz he wants to be with may and tony/pepper and the rest of the avengers are quarantined at the tower. Amd they didn't realise how much they relied or love peter and are missing him very much so much so that they are kinda touch starved amd want him for his adorableness and pureness in their tower/life like a physical presence. And then peter somehow comes to tower and fluff ensues. Maybe some additional online zoom class shenanigans.
