Now they have to live through their childhood years again but can hopefully make some improvements the second time around.

On top of a crimson spire, a Nephilim enslaved a Divine shadow. yet the Nephilim did not order the Shadow to sacrifice himself for her, instead it ordered him to leave her behind in the cursed shore and to live the life the shadow always dreamed of.
But the Shadow refused to allow another being to decide his fate. And so he defied his Master and stayed, destroying the predetermined path that fate had woven.
The strings of fate were stretched thin and on the verge of snapping. But it would not be denied the conclusion it had designed. It will strike back once again and Song of the Fallen will have to bear its backlash alone.

A few years ago, right before Sunny left the orphanage, a strange woman arrived at the orphanage. She walked with purpose, assessing the children gathered for only a brief moment. Somehow, as if the gods had decided to reward him for all his struggles, the woman's gaze landed on him and Rain, and stayed. For once, Sunny thought there was a future outside the outskirts, one where he and his sister could enjoy food and warmth.
Yet, fate seemed to have other plans.
The woman left, promising to return soon, but never came back. Eventually, Sunny was kicked out, with only the respite being that Rain found a family that could take care of her. Just when he thinks it can't get any worse, he starts finding it hard to stay awake.. With nothing left to lose, Sunny resolves to do the one thing he knows he can do. Survive.
