Jungkook swore it.
This one would be the last. The last caretaker his parents forced on him, the last stranger sent to fix what couldn’t be fixed—not after the accident that shattered his body and his pride. He swore it because he didn’t need anyone, didn’t want anyone, and he’d prove it again.
He swears it still when Park Jimin walks in—a sharp-tongued Omega with a fire in his eyes, a voice that cuts, and zero tolerance for Jungkook’s bitter grumbling.
He swears it less and less as the days stretch into nights, as the scent of ocean breeze and amber tears through his routines, and Jimin’s biting wit and pointed critiques of privilege and Alphas leave him furious, unsettled, and dangerously alive.
And soon enough, Jungkook isn’t swearing at all anymore. Because all that matters is the way Jimin’s fingers linger on the edge of a book as he reads, the way he hums under his breath when he’s focused, and the way his blond hair glows, not just in the light, but in Jungkook’s every thought.

But the biggest surprise by far is when Yoongi steps up as his saviour and suggest something utterly preposterous: that they marry. He, marrying Min Yoongi, as if that isn't the worst idea of the century.

Jimin sat up a bit straighter and smoothed his uniform jacket, knowing that praise was coming, his favorite thing in the world. After all, he’d been at the head of each of his classes since he and his spirit twin brother had come to The Dragon Academy, and even before, in their local school. He was certain that the same would be true all of the way through this year, his last year before graduation. He would graduate at the top of his class. That was his only future.
There was little competition, really, just one irritating boy who was always buzzing on his heels, trying to knock Jimin off his perch like it was a sport. So annoying and arrogant. So full of himself. Jimin spent a lot of time simply ignoring him, though it took great effort, and it wasn’t really ignoring someone if all you think about is ignoring them because they’re so smug.I took a tiny bit of license with the prompt, but the essential nature is there. The title comes from a well-known US children's book, "Are You My Mommy?" I couldn't help myself. It fits, but maybe not how you're thinking!
