“Un-fucking-believable.” Kacchan snapped, cutting him off as he sucked on his teeth. “You,” the omega pressed, lifting his hand back up before jabbing a finger into the center of his chest, “are fucking unbelievable. You hear me, Deku?”
He winced with each harsh poke to his sternum, and clenched his own teeth.
“I’m sorry,” he wheezed out, voice tight and choked-up as he tried to keep himself from huffing on the omega’s scent. “I didn’t… I didn’t know that the expedition would take us years…”
It was a flimsy excuse and he knew that Kacchan saw right through it.
His pointed scoff was enough proof.
OR: Alpha warrior Izuku Midoriya returns to his pack after a three year long expedition with only one thought on his mind: to make the omega he had imprinted on as a pup his mate. When he realizes Kacchan is nowhere to be found upon his arrival, he goes out of his way to seek him out and fulfill his promise. “Then?” Katsuki cuts in, leans a bit closer, feeling the steam of his own mug right on his chin. “Trying won’t fucking hurt anyone, will it? Stop asking yourself what-if and what-is-not and Dominate me for a few hours, you loser.”
Or, Izuku is going through a rough time, for multiple reasons. Katsuki is willing to help him. If only he'd be willing to also help himself. But he doesn't want to talk about that.

“Honestly Deku, I really couldn’t care less that you have a girlfriend.”
Silence fell upon the room as Izuku gave him a look he couldn’t quite decipher. “...What are you trying to say?” Izuku finally questioned after several moments, carefully.
Shit.
Katsuki has been pining for years after Izuku. He's softened up a bit, bankrolled a hero suit for the nerd, and gives lectures at UA whenever Izuku requests it. So when what he thought was a dream they shared doesn't pan out like he'd planned, life goes in a direction Katsuki never would've expected.
A story told over five acts which leans heavily into the pain of three characters, with Katsuki's anguish being the focal-point. The happy ending and eventual comfort to the hurt exists for everyone, no matter how bleak things may seem at times, but this story will be gut-wrenching to read most of the chapters. If you aren't at least a bit of a masochist, this fic is probably not for you. You have been warned.
Oh, and the title of the fic is in part inspired by the song Scorpio Rising by Soccer Mommy, and also in part by, well, astrology.
