Summary
When you run into a handsome young Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're quickly pulled in by his charming personality and the thrill of a Jedi adventure. Or Obi-Wan falls in love with the reader and it changes the trajectory of his life. Happy ending!
This story starts a few months before episode 1, but does not follow canon at all.
I recently re-watched Ep 1-3 for the first time in 20 years, and was instantly smitten with this Jedi!

It's been five years since the fall of the Republic, and you have scrapped by day to day. Running a mechanic shop in Mos Eisley is entertaining at best and seedy at worst.
You're content on spending the rest of your days on this hellish planet until an unexpected reunion alters the course of your life.

You hadn’t meant for this to happen.
You’d not expected your most recent articles on the planetary blockades to spread faster than the spice trade throughout the systems.
Not expected the Trade Federation’s trying to silence your outcries against their actions by placing a target on your back.
And you’d definitely not expected your best friend to exercise her influence within the political sphere to call upon a Jedi—a gorgeous one, at that—and place you under his protection from said target on said back.
But then again, the galaxy is always full of surprises, isn’t it?

Summary
After defeating Darth Maul on Naboo and losing his Jedi Master, the Council still believes that Obi-Wan is too hindered by his grief to become a Jedi Knight just yet. In an unorthodox, and experimental, decision by the council, you are picked to be Obi-Wan's Master who will help him get to a point where he is ready to complete his trials, despite your small difference in age and experience. Shocked yet excited to spend time with your old friend, you discover just how much his grief has affected his psyche.
Note: NO ONE IS UNDERAGE (except for in flashbacks). I imagine the reader to be 26-ish and Obi-Wan to be 23 ish.
Another note: Imagine Alex Law from Shallow Grave (played by Ewan McGregor)~ Now imagine if Padawan Obi-Wan had that long, beautiful, luscious hair. This is all an excuse to write about that.

You meet Obi-Wan through a Force bond that is tested by me throwing things at you both every chapter.
For normal speech i use " " but for telepathic stuff in their bond i use ' '
not a song fic but i do have playlist for this fic and the story titles for each era are named after lyrics from the song Backslide by TwentyOnePilots. Just for fun. This work is Pre-phantom menace (story is planned up until Revenge of the Sith.
Rated M for violence.
I orignally started when I knew nothing of star wars lore so I apologise for any errors (and i learnt everything from fics so if stuff isnt canon thats why)
This is the first part of a series + series is still WIP, this part is completeSeries

“You know, it’s one thing for Philippe to call me a kid, considering he could be old enough to be Lida’s dad. But you? I’m not a kid, I’m probably the same damn age as you,” you scoff once the elevator door fully closes.
He hums softly, making a face like he’s thinking on it for a minute, then smirks. “Hmm. Alright, brat.”
“I have a name,” you grit out, crossing your arms and placing your weight in one of your hips.
He leans back against the couch, bringing up his right leg to rest his ankle on his left knee again as his eyes pierce back into yours. “Sure. Now, sit.”

Corbeau finds himself skating on the thin line between longing and the unspoken.
